after 8 days I still had no ticket. it jeopardized me being able to go on my important trip as I lost so much time to shop airfares. Ended up buying another ticket and having to spend hours getting them to cancel my order, respond to the situation after they kept promising me my ticket would come. I still have not heard back from them.

I bought airline tickets from the Fare Barber. They have a good deals, but you would need to wait to get a tickets up to 7 days and you will be nervous, but you will get them. It will take time.

I was looking for a fare to Jamaica so I saw this travel site and I tried booking but it did not go through so I called the number and I would have to wait too long so I hang up with the intent to call back later. Early the next morning I got a call from the travel site and Alex was on the line. He looked up the fare for me and gave me the best price I believe. Jenny called me a few days later and arranged everything, sending e-mail and explaining everything to me. She is wonderful. My ticket is ready and waiting for me to take my trip. I tried to book my ticket online for a fare posted on the Farebarber website. It looked like it processed correctly but kept saying “processing “ It never charged to my card and I noticed my DOB was incorrect even though I did make sure I checked it before submitting the request for the ticket. I was contacted by Jenny and she said the fare was not available and it costs almost $200 more. So the fare you see online is most likely not what you will pay. I told her to correct my DOB and redo the ticket. I did pay the extra money as fares were rising at this time. I was waiting for 24 then 48 hrs. I finally got my ticket and checked with the airline to make sure it was good. It was not an easy transaction and this was the first time I had ever had this type of issue with ticketing. Jenny was very helpful, patient and kind. She reassured me and kept in contact through every step. Be aware that you may not be able to get through to the agents leave a message, be kind and they will respond. OTAs are different than booking through an airline, you have to wait longer for your ticket to be issued. Confirmation is not a ticket … remember this. This website is full of crap. The prices they give are what you get. They give you a price then tell you it's not guaranteed and then up sell you. Classic bait and switch!!! Buyer beware!!!!!
