I purchased a virtual number from Fanytel specifically for verification purposes, but it failed to receive OTPs and didn’t work for the intended verification services. When I requested a refund, I was told that since I had "used" the number, a refund was not possible. However, if the number doesn’t function as advertised, it has no value for the service I purchased it for. This lack of reliability, combined with an unfair refund policy, makes Fanytel a service I cannot recommend.

Tried to contact ‘customer services’ with full details of issue, examples, details and account number and got a email reply with just the following text: ‘share fanytel account’, nothing else! So I replied with more screen grabs including the account number and also mentioned that they have it already to which they replied: well nothing, this time they couldn’t be bothered at all. I could claim a chargeback but it’s really not worth it. So in short, service doesn’t work and customer services are incompetent and/or unwilling to help. I’m sure they’ll reply here to ask me to contact their customer services. When you get a number and pay for topup from them, don’t be too surprised if you lose your money, I did!

I bought a UK number and my account was debited. There is no transaction history showing that have been debited and there no UK number either. I contacted support but I have been left blank.

Bought a US number was told that I would be able o receive calls but can't receive any US calls. I'm grateful I only got the monthly plan and not the yearly, waist of time. Customer service still hasn't responded to my message.

I purchased two numbers one is VIP the other is usual but on both number when I am calling in US with proper +1 code, I cannot hear a single thing and it cuts off secondly my vip number was already in use by another person kindly resolve this issue

one of the craziest scammer I have met he resells used number again and again 99.99% numbers are used he know he does it and he know deliberately he is scamming his customers never buy number in this site he will never provide plus will blame it on provider for it while he the one scamming us! STAY AWAY! SCAM!

I purchased credit from the Fanytel app and I received a debit from my bank but it's not reflecting on my account. Please what can I do? Thank you.

5 days ago, I see another reviewer gave Fanytel 1 star. I have come to do the same thing. I too bought a number that does not function. No matter what I try, text messages will not send. I can receive texts, but Reply never works. I have tried: restart phone, log in and out of app, sending to multiple contacts, wifi vs data, even traveled to the USA. Secondly, whenever I call someone, it shows up on their phone as "unlisted." Fanytel support told me that is how all their U.S. number display. Fanytel cannot resolve the issue. I have been in contact with Fanytel costumer support for a full week about my text issue and they finally said, "There is no issue with your account." I replied that I am going to move to a company that actually has products that work. No response. I'm trying Ultra Mobile now. They have a $3 per month plan.
