The basic function of receiving texts and calls does not work, which negates the entire reason for spending money on this app. I have no idea how this app could have received 5 stars from any consumer. I tried making 5 calls; 1 call went through and the other 4 just failed sliently with no warning. Then I received a captive modal in the Fanytel website applicaiton that said "application not registered" despite having purchases ample credits just today. It feels like experimental tech from a company on its way to providing VOIP text and voice services that has not arrived yet. I appreciate the effort, but they should not be charging full retail price for a service that simply does not work as intended at all.

I have been using Fanytel for more than a year, but today I had an extremely concerning experience. A US number has been assigned to my account for over a year, and I have already paid for it nearly a year in advance. Today, I suddenly discovered that someone else had apparently activated a Telegram account using this number. This is extremely disturbing. The number is supposed to be assigned to me, so I should be the person receiving SMS verification codes sent to it. Yet somehow, another person appears to have received or otherwise obtained access to the verification needed to activate Telegram with my number. Telegram is simply the case I discovered. I have no way of knowing whether the number has also been used to register or access accounts on other services. This raises very serious questions about how Fanytel manages numbers that customers are actively paying for. If a number assigned to a paying customer can somehow be accessed, reassigned, or used by someone else, then relying on that number for account verification becomes a major security risk. After this experience, I have completely lost confidence in the service. I am now concerned about every account connected to my Fanytel numbers and whether those accounts could potentially be compromised without my knowledge. I expect Fanytel to investigate this incident seriously and explain exactly how another person was apparently able to activate Telegram using a number that has been continuously assigned and paid for under my account.

Scam and deceptive service! They sold me a compromised, recycled virtual number (+1 581-708-5999) that is already blacklisted and tied to an active TikTok account by someone else. They refused to provide a premium replacement ending in 9999 or handle the breach correctly, choosing to just push a refund. Total consumer fraud. Do not use Fanytel!

Avoid this service at all costs. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a virtual phone number provider. I had been using my UK number for several months without any issues. When it was time to renew it, I paid the renewal fee. The payment was accepted, and credits were added to my account. However, immediately afterwards my UK number disappeared and the app started showing "Not Registered." I contacted support expecting a quick resolution, but instead I received contradictory and unhelpful responses. First, I was told it was a network issue. Then I was told to buy the number again, even though I had already paid. Later they simply pointed out that I had credits, completely ignoring the fact that my number had vanished. To make matters worse, I paid again to purchase additional credits, and those disappeared as well. In total, I have paid around £4 within a single week, yet I have neither a working number nor reliable access to the credits I paid for. I provided screenshots, payment proof, and explained the issue multiple times, but I still have no proper solution. Instead of investigating the account or restoring the service, support kept giving generic replies that did not address the actual problem. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. If you depend on your virtual number for business, verification, or important calls, think carefully before trusting this platform. I hope the company takes responsibility, restores my account, or issues a full refund.

I paid for a UK virtual number from Fanytel specifically for WhatsApp verification. After payment, the number was assigned to my account, but later it disappeared completely from my dashboard. I contacted their support, sent screenshots, my invoice, and proof of payment, but my issue has not been resolved. I paid for a service that I can no longer access. From my experience, I cannot recommend Fanytel. Losing access to a purchased number without a timely resolution is unacceptable. If you need a virtual number for an important purpose, I would suggest looking for another provider.

I have credit. I haven't used Fanytel in quite a while. The amount of my credit shows but now I can't make a call. I get a message that bluetooth (and something else--my contacts?--must be enable. I've messaged customer service several times; the response is always "try again." I friggin' give up. I have credit on Yolla, too, and I made my call with it, no problems. So goodbye, Fanytel, after you've kept my money!
