I recommended this site to my friends re uploading their data to find matches, supposed to be done in a week, many weeks later we are still waiting, disappointed.

One of the most user unfriendly planforms out there. The platform hides quite simple data and analysis behind sequences and sequencing data few people understand. For goodness sake, make the menus simple: where can one find one's Data (Y-STR haplotype etc), descent from common ancestors and family finder.

It's good that they have made updates to their mitochondrial test results. However, these still remain mostly meaningless since they do not provide timings for mitotree branches, while at times, depending on which tab you look at, the results seem to contradict each other. Their staff are also no help at all, sending meaningless one-sentence replies to questions or even referring people to Facebook groups for answers. I've never seen anyone so provokingly indifferent. The supposed chat doesn't even work. Nobody answers it. I got much more meaningful results from YFull. Ideally all samples from FTDNA would appear on YFull, where the answers are much clearer and include estimated dates.

I have paid for all these kits over years, the last two recently. I want access to the older ones. No go. They are kits number: Kit Numbers: 269946, 525047, 787326, B131613, B175103, IN34979, IN34981, IN36988. What has happened to them. Were they deleted?

1. Their response to a librarian, library worker, & my inability to post from a desktop computer to a Group Project showed Zero Comprehension 2. In early '24 Unsubscribing to their Unwanted Emails they attempted to persuade me to change my mind. And, Unlike Normal Business Practice they sent an email confirming my unsubscription.

I don't know what probability I can gain from the site. I joined a project group. No activity on the forum since 2018. I guess customers gave up on the group. it is the mtDNA haplogroups with possible new subclades.

I should of trusted my instincts before using this dodgy site. Very un-user friendly site, compared to three other major genealogy sites that I also use. I did notice a relative that matched another sites results but the results were distant (not worth the hassle of managing another dna site) It keeps logging me out, and i use the same login info on my phone, yet it says cannot log in (so much frustration with login issues) They are eager to up-sell yet make the site so horrible to use. goodbye
