Jimmy Laymam didn’t write the review. I do not know how you got his name. This is Caron Hause. I purchased the rv and was lied to about a warranty. This rv has been the worst by far of any rv I have owned. Like I said once you sign the dotted line, this company is done with the customer service.

Hello Caron Hause, Trustpilot keeps showing your name as Jimmy Laymam. Not sure why but, that is not something we can control. You would need to file a complaint with Trustpilot since it is their platform. I reviewed your purchase documents 13-MAY-23 and noted you did not purchase RVCARE extended service contract at the time of purchase. RVCARE would have covered many of services you feel need to be addressed after the 30-days of purchase that we will guarantee. In addition, I took a moment and looked at the the camper you purchased used on May 2023. Since we are not a dealer for that model I do not have a build sheet to see if the water heater has an electric option. Looking at the images we have of the camper you purchased. The water heater is located between the two main slides opposite of the entry door. You will have to open the water heater door and look for an "on/Off" switch that turns the eclectic side of the water heater on if the water heater is equipped with electric. I understand the confusion about the Extended service contract, we talk about it a lot to customer prior to purchasing a camper because it is an excellent program to have one (1) year later when the camper components start to wear out with use. Many customers purchase the extended service contract to cover these costs and reduce their out-of-pocket expenses while owning or living in a camper full-time. There are a hand full of people who will not purchase the extended service contract under any circumstances and a year later come to regret that decision when the camper begin to show signs or wear & tear from use and the repairs start to add up. As for any parts purchased from our store, please take a moment and look at the bottom of the receipt, you will see we have a strict return policy on parts that can include a 20% restocking fee. If you used the part on the camper, we will not return it unless it was defective out of the box. This was not the issue with the LPG regulator you purchased from our store recently and had installed only to find out the hoses were bad instead of the regulator. Again, I apologize you feel you were wronged in someway and felt leaving a review on platform was the best way to address any concerns or frustrations with our company. I would suggest coming in and sitting down with me when you have time and see what can be done to help resolve this ongoing issue. Media exchanges like this one, promote a continuance of non-productive back & forth that would be better resolved in person. Respectfully, Albert N. General Manager, Family RV Center
