I shop at the family Dollar on 3rd Street in Harrisburg a lot almost everyday I'm in here I spent a lot of money in there when I'm on my way home from work every night I usually stop in and pick up things I may need for the next day and I'm always able to do that but tonight I made it there and it was closed and it was the time was 9:38 p.m. in the store is supposed to be open until 10:00 p.m. so they closed early I knocked on the window and they pretended like they didn't see me I'm wondering why it was closed it's never closed disappointed

The cashier was friendly, but someone needs to be in charge of rotating foods. I bought a Hershey white almond bar single, item 034000241330 at Store #01194 in West Plains, MO at 2:18 PM on 12-09-22. Upon taking a bite of the candy bar, it was obvious the almonds were rancid. I immediately spit it out. The BB date was 07 2022.

Some products are higher than walmart, they jack up prices and you're asking to clip coupons 2r3 dollars off maybe 50 cents off but you gotta buy two and they are still higher than walmart

Family Dollar in Orlando Florida on E Colonial Road located in a strip mall next to a nail salon. Worst store I have ever been in. There was only one employee who seemed to give a crap and she was a manager named Kat. The cashier's were extremely rude and lazy. I saw another employee, couldn't get her name but she had long hair pulled up, seemed to just wander aimlessly around doing nothing. I asked for help and was ignored by said employee, the manager Kat stepped in and assisted me. She was knowledgeable and pleasant. The absolute only employee there who is. Their prices are not worth dealing with the ignorant rude employees nor all the people begging for money outside. Highly recommend you DO NOT shop there. I'm only giving two stars for the manager Kat

Family Dollar located in Mount Claire Junction shopping center, Baltimore Maryland. The ONLY reason I give this store 2 stars, is because there are employees who work there, that are some of the kindest, funniest and polite employees I've ever come across. The manager of the store (I believe her name is, Pat) is point blank lazy. She's become a joke, a meme of the store where customers ask about her when she's not visible in the store because we all know how she operates. I've taken to calling her background decor because she's always hiding when there's work to be done. She doesn't like being on the register and when she is, she does the bare minimum and is quick to go outside for a cigarette break. She pretends to be busy stocking or putting things away and when someone rings her to the front, she takes her good time answering their needs. She had a attitude recently because she was the only one working in the store but I don't blame the employees for calling out on the same day. They need to do that to her more often. People hang outside the store waiting for customers to go in or out so they can ask them for money and instead of the manager telling these people to stop standing outside their establishment harassing customers, she just LETS it happen. The prices have been going up before inflation because people steal and the people who actually BUY stuff have to suffer because of it. You can always look forward to a dolly or countless boxes in the middle of aisles. I've witnessed an older woman trip on one, luckily she regained her footing. Customers are always commenting on their lack of registers being open. They have 4 registers in this store and barely 2 are open. The lines will go all the way back through aisles because of this. Reading their Covid rules are laughable because a lot of those rules every Family Dollar are suppose to follow, this one doesn't. Their stock of items has gone down a lot and I've found myself going to Dollar General for the smallest things. Family Dollar is more of a convenience store now where they have more snacks and sodas in stock than anything else. Might as well drop the "Dollar" from the store name because there is absolutely NOTHING in Family Dollar that's just a dollar.

I’ve purchase the diffuser that coat $12 and the first one I purchased worked for over a year until I dropped it and it broke. But this past year I have purchased 3 more for my home. And to my surprise not a single one worked. And I couldn’t get a refund because it was opened. See that’s not right. Selling faulty products. And the consumer can’t get a refund because I refused to get anymore. So now I’m trying to see how can I get some for free. Spending my hard earned money on something that is trash. And I had to literally put in the trash. So 2 stars for this company and their products. Do better Family Dollar just do better.

Went to one down the street from me in OKC OK to pick up some cards. They have to prettiest cards for cheap. Unfortunately within the 30 mins I was there, 2 different fights broke out between patrons and management. Both resulted with management telling patrons to get the H... out of her store, and not diffusing the situations at all. She accused one patron of stealing, even with her receipt. Needless to say I am going to try to avoid shopping here as much as I can. It was ridiculous.

Sure I shop at family Dollar all the time. As far as some of the prices on some things that is being sold be too high especially on their food. For it to be a dollar store it should be more affordable to their customers. Some of them stores be nasty and shelf's are not filled. I personally think they should change their name to something else because they really not a dollar store.
