I had problems with a product and F-O-S wouldn't own the problem. Jessica reached out to me via this page, email and voicemail to solve my problem. Happy Camper! But let me explain if you want to read on. There is a huge lack of documentation about the Norelco SmartClean system and it too me many hours over several days to figure out that FactoryOutletStore.com was doing the best they could with the lack of information from Norelco. There are 2 SmartClean systems; CP0253 for the 5000 series and CP9060 for the 9000 series. Norelco claims that they do NOT make one for the 8900 series even though they bundle one with the 8900. I bought an 8900 without a SmartClean and ordered one from F-O-S. It would not dry my 8900 even though the product page said it had a dryer. I wanted to send it back for a refund and they wanted me to pay shipping -- even though it didn't function as described. I returned my 8900 and bought a 9850. When I put it into the SmartClean, IT DRIED IT. So there is a dryer, but apparently it only works with the 9000 series. So the SmartClean will clean the 8000 series, they bundle it with the 8000 series, but it won't dry the 8000 series. Now admittedly I only tried it with one razor and maybe is is supposed to dry the 8000 series and just didn't dry mine. Bottom line, I was unhappy with F-O-S and they stepped up. That is the mark of a great company!
