everything went smoothly

Chat help was outstanding. I was assured that the data/charging cable I was looking to purchase would actually work as advertised. The free shipping to me is enticing and learning that FactoryOutletStore.com will pay for return shipping within thirty days sealed the deal for me. Follow up: The cable arrived in the promised time. Cable length is right about 30 inches. Now when the Garmin RV760 is plugged into the computer USB port, it does not require the additional connection of the 12VDC from the adapter module on the back panel. It promptly told me I had software that was out of date and also gave me an option to load maps onto my PC. After plotting a course half way across the USA, I was able to dump the file into the Garmin with no trouble at all. I would not hesitate to buy this cable again if the need arose.
