I'm in love with your product and the purchase process is OK. but I made my firts purchase and 5 minutes later you send me a newsletter with a code for 10%discount to use in my first purchase ?!?! why you don't offer me before? or why you don't give a nice surprise while i'm buying and gift me a 10% off.....seems more logical..... thank you in advance best david

I placed an order and within 60 minutes received a 10% off coupon for my first order .......? I did a review and questioned the practice of sending a first order discount after an order had been placed. With in 12 hours I did get a response back from the company offering to adjust the original price and add the discount. Currently waiting to receive the order, cost and discount to apply. If you sign up for the newsletter wait for a short time until you receive the discount coupon, then place your order. I would normally give another star to the review, but this is a first time experience with the company. I am anticipating a good experience and am impressed with this company's quick response to an issue. It shows they are customer focused.

I now own two VisionCheck devices which each have their own serial numbers. When I signed up and paid for a new All-Access EyeQue account to use on the newly-purchased (2nd) VisionCheck device, the web page never asked for the device serial number nor mentioned that my new device already included a 1-year All-Access membership. Looks like I’ll need to contact Support to get the account membership properly extended...

I purchased my EyeQue device(s) in late September 2019. I had been experiencing some vision problems and was taking vision therapy, so ended up having multiple ophthalmologist's readings between August and October. Started with the VisionCheck, but it destroyed the BT connections with my car audio and fitness tracker on my phone. The Personal Vision Tracker (PVT) does not use BT and works much better for me. That said, it works better on my iPhone 11 than my old Android. I had to have EyeQue support go in and wipe out October and November readings from my account due to massive spread and inconsistencies in my measurements. It's still not close to my latest prescription with its "EyeGlass Numbers (EGN)" (their term for "prescription"). People say in other reviews that their EGNs are "better" than their "official" prescription. Most likely, this is because EGNs are biased towards overcorrection. This is great when you first get new glasses, but there is an effect called lens-induced myopia (look it up on Google Scholar), which lengthens the eye and makes it even more dependent on the lenses worn. This is exacerbated by using stronger lenses than needed, due to the effects of hyperopic defocus. Be forewarned that if you have high myopia and/or astigmatism, you're not likely to get accurate readings for either. They will be precise, if not biased, as I mentioned before. I find that they tend to confound each other. I find the device useful in my journey towards good eye health using traditional behavioral optometry and the reduced lens method discussed at endmyopia.org, as I can take weekly measurements and see reductions and/or changes in my refractive state using the device and its cloud- and data-science based back end.

The measuring eye distance, apps, and build quality have been good with little complaints there. Testing your eye sight with the device is okay at best. Still needs some work. You put two colors overlapping each other and sometimes they only partially overlap. Not sure if it's the device, how I'm positioned or what. But I followed the instructions and watch videos to make sure I was doing it right and still doesn't work quite as instructed. Not to mention you have to do repeated tests just to get results and not even that is a guarantee that it will correct. I know the numbers it's currently spitting out are way over what my actual is right now. I've read people doing as much as ten tests and still the numbers for new glasses is blurry so more testing and improvements are needed. Thanks.

not easy .Fails to much

Customer service is great and the product is something I was very anxious to try, however, after being shipped two defective devices I sadly gave up.

I had a lot of difficulty doing the tests. Maybe if there was some sort of tripod to rest your chin in to keep still and steady it would make it easier. I also found the buttons did not always react when I pressed them while taking the tests. Maybe this is a software issue. I finally did take all 3 tests. I have been wearing progressives for 15 years. So I followed the instructions and did the additional test in the mirror and ordered a pair of glasses. Reading and watching tv 1 foot to 15 feet the clarity is perfect. But I’m unable to focus much further. So driving, seeing signs in the distance and shopping, looking down the aisles fatigues my eyes. I don’t and never had that problem with my other progressives. So I had to order from my eye doctor.
