Hello George, Thank you for your feedback. There are different variables that can affect your test results, ranging from positioning, how you are looking into the device, if you have the correct resolution, health conditions that affect your vision, among others. Most of your tests were consistent with each other; there were 3 that were outliers that may have negatively affected your results. You can refine your results by completing additional tests. If you are interested, you can also send the try-on glasses back and we can remake new ones with an updated EGN. Please contact our support team for further assistance.

Hello Buddy, Thank you for your feedback. You chatted with one of our support representatives earlier this week, and it was confirmed that there were no tests in the account; therefore an EyeGlass Number (EGN) cannot be generated. Please complete a minimum of 3 consistent/valid tests to obtain your measurements. If there is too much variation, more tests will be required. If you require additional assistance, please be sure to contact our support team.

Hello there! Thank you for your feedback. We understand that our test can be time consuming/long, but we require the 9 measurements per eye to check for astigmatism and provide correction. A single test is not enough data to provide a reliable EyeGlass Number (EGN), which is why we require a minimum of 3 consistent tests. Your current 3 tests, while it generated an EyeGlass Number for you, can be further refined with additional tests if you wish. The VisionCheck can only generate measurements for distance vision, but the app can provide a suggested near vision ADD (NVADD) value based on the user's age. If you take a look at your dashboard, you will see your NVADD below your EGN. Please feel free to contact our support team at [email protected] with any questions you may have.

Hello there, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we are limiting our time at the office, and do not have anyone closely monitoring the phones. Our primary forms of support for the time being are by email or chat. In regard to your husband's results, I see that he had completed 28 tests, but they were very inconsistent with one another. The variation between tests was so great that the app was unable to generate a reliable EyeGlass Number (EGN). For example, for the right eye, the spherical power (1st measurement in the EGN) ranged between -1.5D and -4.0D, and the cylinder power (2nd measurement) ranged between -0.25D and -2.5D. This variation can be due to positioning, how he was looking into the device, inability to see the lines, and/or the inability to converge them properly. However, with the previous tests inactivated, the 4 tests currently in his account (one from 9/23 and 3 from 9/25) were more in line with one another this time around, and has generated an EGN. This is visible on the dashboard of the app. He can also sign into his account on the web and view his results there. If we can assist with anything else, please feel free to send us an email. Hi Robert, Thank you for the feedback; we appreciate all that we receive from our customers. In your individual tests, there will be some differences between the results. This is normal because you don't always take the test at the same time of the day or in the same conditions. You'll notice that the results will have a green check mark or a red X marking what tests are being used to calculate your EyeGlass Numbers and which tests are being discarded. Make sure you are not using the individual tests as the barometer for your eye's measurements. Your EyeGlass Numbers are the measurements of your eyes and will not vary much, if at all, from every test after your third good test. The largest variance should be roughly +/- 0.50D, nothing more. If you are making your glasses through your Individual tests, the results should be off.

Hello there, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't too pleased with the results from the PDCheck. However, from what you are describing, it sounds like you may have been trying to adjust the targets by using your finger and dragging them, instead of using the arrows, which move the targets incrementally. If you didn't see the arrows, please check to see if your phone's display is on zoom mode, or you can also try deleting the app and reinstalling it. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact our support team.

Since the VisionCheck is a self-administered tool, there are many variables that can cause discrepancies in your measurements and/or difficulty completing the test itself. We are sorry the VisionCheck did not work for you, but we appreciate you giving our products a try.

Dear Kurt, Thank you for your review; we appreciate everyone's feedback on our products. We are working on the strap; with the VisionCheck we moved it from the top of the screen to the middle of the screen since it has the touch sensors on the device. With the PVT, the buttons to control the movement of the lines are on the screen itself so we cannot move the lines to the middle of the screen. We are looking into, with future generations of the product, to have a different way of attaching the device to your smartphone. In regards to the individual results, there will be some variation to the results since it is a self administered test. The real measurement of your eyes are the final EyeGlass Numbers as they are an aggregate of those individual tests. If the test is wildly outside the range of the tightest cluster of testing results, then the application will automatically remove that result. If you focus only on the individual results you won't be getting the real measurement of your eyes, but you could determine whether or not you are near or far sighted if the results are either consistently positive or negative. As for PD, this is definite requirement for ordering a pair of glasses for yourself. Reviewing the application, we could do a much better job of explaining how you can go about obtaining your PD. Within the box there is a note card that advertises our PDCheck, but it's understood that some people would more than likely throw that card away if they weren't sure why it was included. Lastly, the landing page that is provided for ordering glasses will take you to one or two pages. Either you can order our trial Try-On glasses through our store if they meet the requirements we set or you can order them from an online retailer. We don't go through their processes since each is site is different in how they accept the order. We do try to lay out the EGNs so they match the standard, but ordering from each retailer is a little different. In terms of integration, we want to be able to do with retailers, but it is not a short process. We hope that we can have many more relationships with retailers in the future.
