Nice attempt but overall not a good…
Nice attempt but overall not a good product. There is a slight learning curve to using the device. Add this to human error and in some instances, having to pick the least of imperfect variations. All adds up to a flawed result. So of course you should take the test several times. The problem is that as you get better at taking the test, the results keep averaging with old tests. There is no way to reset tests and start fresh because they are afraid of multiple people using one account. So you are never sure what your result really is. That is in itself a horrible failure of the product, the fact you can never have an accurate result. So the ultimate test of the product would be how well the result translates to a corrective lens. In my case, bad. The spherical was ok, but still wrong and the cylinder was terribly wrong. I bought a pair of glasses using the numbers generated after 20 tests. The glasses are unwearable.

Hi there - sorry to hear that your experience with the Personal Vision Tracker was not as great as we would have liked it to be. You are correct, there is a bit of a learning curve, but as you take more tests, any of the older tests that were outliers will be automatically discarded. If you take a look at your test history on your account online, 3 of your 11 tests were removed. In regard to the resetting of tests, it is important to prevent multiple users from testing on one account, otherwise all data will be combined, thus affecting the resulting EyeGlass Number. We would like to work with you to rectify this experience, and will reach out in a separate email.
