Terrible customer service. It is designed to wear you out until you give up with a claim. Every step of the way takes forever until you get the pdf form, which is an Adobe form you must subscribe to Adobe to use! Then they promise to mail you a form in "7-10 days" but it doesn't sho up. And the form I could see but not fill out wanted every little thing itemized, things that aren't even on the invoice form the provider!

On their automated answering machine if you select mobile device to speak to a chat bot, it just hangs up on you and never reaches back out. It says it will text you and it doesn't. The customer service reps are horrible and are either lazy and/or don't have access to the data they need to be able to help customers. A customer ID can't be used to look up any information whatsoever about your account. The webpage is a dead end with no useful info and the customer service number on the screen is disconnected when you call it. "This number is not in service." The website is ehealthinsurance.com They've never sent my member ID or insurance information when requested or when I started my plan. I never had my member ID so when I called trying to find it they actually told me I didn't have a plan with them even though I've been being charged monthly for years.

Unfortunately Eyemed is used by Aetna insurance for vision benefits... Eyemed is VERY difficult to work with, Very difficult to obtain support. Little to no communication with its "members"

If I could I would rate Eyemed a zero (0) for customer service. I have spent 2 months trying to get an employee terminated from billing with no success. I have been bounced from rep to rep to rep with no one knowing how to solve the issue. Benefits are good but poor customer service. They ask you to go to their website to handle any issues but the website does not properly send you to the orrect department.

They hide all their forms - feels very intentional.

They are really awful, and EyeMed Vision Care "customer service" is horrid. My husband got glasses last fall, and I did what they told me to do (and THAT process was difficult, inconsistent, and took FOREVER). Come to find out, they applied HIS glasses to MY account, so now I can't get my glasses covered. Their solution is to cancel the claim and send the money back, resubmit a new claim for him, and then submit mine - rather than just make an adjustment on the back end, they want the customer to spend the time to fix and submit THREE claims. And I don't trust that they won't screw it up, so I'm just going to have to eat it and I will be looking at dumping them at open enrollment.

the company makes reaching out overly complicated and they are not helpful at all.
