I found this through my vision ins list of places in network. I made an initial visit and the wait for the appt was under a week... compared to waiting sometimes months... The only reason why this took almost a week was due to MY schedule. They had same day spots open and from what I seen they even take walk ins! The first part of the exam after I checked in was taking lots of pictures of my eyes. They did give me the info on how much my ins will pay on frames and showed me to the ladies side... they were helpful and answered any questions I had... I had enough time to find two that I liked and when I went back to wait for the actual eye exam.. they acknowledged I was back and kept giving me time updates which was nice. This is also the first time I have ever had an eye exam that was done virtually.. you do have a tech in the room with you too. ***please note and be aware, if they think you need to actually be seen in person by someone... you would have to make another appt where the place has someone on site. *** which i have to do... The techs and the dr i seen virtually were all really nice and helpful.. they answered any questions that I had... *** also we should note... when I walked in the door... there was a guy with a very small child who was yelling almost the entire time. Not a bother to me... kids cry... but... these two ladies, were so unbothered... they kept trying to help him too which was awesome to see...*** The show stopper in this whole story is the lady who sold me my frames. Let me tell you... Violet is a gem! This lady is sweet as pie! So nice and helpful... she took so much time and care into explaining and breaking everything down for me. She did upsell me on lenses. Let's face it.. lenses and glasses are expensive. It is what it is. Everyone complains about it but... can you really put a price on being able to see ? I picked out a pair of Betsey Johnson glitter frames... with my lenses I paid just under 500.00 for everything - I did get progressive lenses, that transition, and it was my first pair of boficals. i did purchase the protection plan. I think that was 30.00 but they said its unlimited fixes or replacements for a year and if you don't use it... they send you a credit voucher, which is nice. They told me 2 weeks for delivery. They did make my 2nd pair on sight and they were done in under an hour. My glasses arrived in 6 days! I was pumped to pick them up!! They are the besttttt! I was slightly bummed when they said were out of the Betsey Johnson cases but they gave me a different one..which was fine. I did message their Customer service and they responded less than 24 hours later for me to confirm my mailing address because they were going to send me one! Take away from this- glasses are expensive like everything else in the world. The workers don't set the prices so don't take it out on them! Marion, Il location had a excellent crew the day I went in.. it was such a great experience! Thanks for top notch service!
