Hi Patrick, I am sorry to hear about your experience with our kiosk. We do send an introduction packet to the companies safety program manager with an ordering instruction pamphlet with all this information. I am sorry it was not shared with you prior. Definitely a great idea to add these instructions directly on the kiosk screen so you can see them prior to ordering. We take customer feedback seriously and will be sure to bring this up. Your comments are helpful in highlighting opportunities to improve our system even further and your recommendations are being addressed internally. To answer you about the how we use uploaded pictures (selfies), we do have the technology to measure your PD (pupillary distance) from a photograph, or if you updated your profile with your PD- we verify it, this information allows our opticians to size your frames. Now it is not always perfect as every person head size and features are different, and can result in someone having to exchange their frames (we have a 30-day guarantee if you are not satisfied). You can upload your photo as needed and retake it as needed. The selection may be limited as these are the shoes your company has designated as compliant for the job.
