Hello Justin, We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with your glasses. Unfortunately as you must know, The safety standards and typical benefit coverages do not allow some of the more modern refractive index materials that could make lenses thinner with a higher prescription. Unfortunately this does result sometimes in safety glasses being thicker than what you may be accustomed to in your personal eyewear. With hyperopia of course a convex lens is required, meaning that it must be thicker in the middle than at the edges. Often in a larger frame, this can cause the lenses to be even thicker than the minimum thickness requirements from OSHA due to the lens curvature. We of course would like the opportunity to make you a pair that you love to wear, and we have a very flexible exchange policy for that purpose. From a practical standpoint though it may be beneficial to select a slightly smaller frame, or take advantage of the digital lens technology we have if available at your company. While we have proven measuring systems in place, occasionally we need to adjust the height of someone’s bifocal for various reasons. Luckily, your eyewear includes a FREE product remake if returned within 30 days of delivery. Please give us a call at 1.888.308.4703 or email [email protected] and we will send you a prepaid label to ship back your glasses.
