Excellent customer service, but a Frustrating Two-Month Process
I have mixed feelings about my experience. First, I want to say that the customer service was excellent. They were responsive, usually replying to my emails within a day or two, and even called and left me a voicemail. These days, so many companies rely on AI or automated replies, which can be frustrating when you need real help. I really appreciated being able to communicate with actual people who were helpful and professional. For customer service alone, I would give them 5 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The prescription I received was far too strong—so strong that my vision felt doubled. Whatever equipment or process was used to determine my prescription was clearly inaccurate. Because of that, I would rate that part of the experience 1 out of 5. The website also needs improvement. It did not clearly display the correct frame sizes, and there was no option to choose the frame size during ordering. I would rate the website 2 out of 5. My personal experience overall was very frustrating. I placed my first order on February 4, and it was not until April 20 that I finally received an acceptable pair of glasses. It took over two months and multiple returns to resolve the issues. After receiving the wrong prescription, I had to return the glasses and wait for the return to be processed before my benefits were reset so I could reorder. That process took a long time. By the time I was finally able to reorder, the frame I originally wanted was no longer available, so I had to choose another pair. Then the replacement pair was sent in the wrong size. I had specifically requested a medium, and customer service placed the order for me. The receipt even showed the correct size, but the glasses that arrived were a small. That meant I had to go through the entire return process again—waiting for shipping, waiting for processing, and even having to remind them to reset my benefits again. After all of that, when I finally received the correct size glasses, there was a small dent on the right arm. So while the customer service team did their best and were easy to reach, the ordering process, prescription accuracy, delays, and quality control made this an exhausting experience. In the end, it took from February 4 to April 20 just to receive an acceptable pair of glasses.
