Hello Larry. Thank you for your review. We use the customer photo to take measurements so that we can custom make the glasses. It enables us to accurately measure pupilary distances as well as seg-heights for those that wear lined bifocals & no-line progressives. In addition, it helps to make sure the frame will be a good fit. We hope you are satisfied with your glasses. Thanks again!

Hello BigDon. We use your PD measurement to help scale the photo and frame so that we can take measurements needed to customize your glasses. If you would like to discuss the progressives further, please give us a call and an optician can go through the options with you to make sure you get what you are looking for. We use the graphics to describe the good-better-best options to simplify the process, however some further details could be warranted. Let us know if an optician can assist. When you receive your glasses, you have 30-days to contact us if you have any issue with the frame or lenses. I am confident you will be pleasantly surprised!

Hello Joyce. When a product is not available, Eyelation turns it off in the system to prevent people from ordering something unavailable. I am sorry that you were not able to order something you wanted, however. Because of the high order volume being ordered as a result of COVID, some products went on backorder.
