If I could give minus zero stars I would.
If I could give minus zero stars, I would. I ordered glasses from Eyeconic last year with a new prescription for progressive lenses. I had never worn progressive lenses, so I had no idea until I visited my eye doctor THIS year, that Eyeconic made glasses containing an incorrect prescription. According to my eye doctor, the readout of the prescription from the glasses made by Eyeconic did not match the prescription I provided to them last year. As a result of wearing glasses with an incorrect prescription for a year, my new prescription is significantly stronger. I contacted Eyeconic TWICE and was told that their policy requires that glasses be returned within 6 months if a remake is being requested based on an incorrect prescription. Clearly their policy does not address a situation where the client is not aware that there has been a mistake in the prescription of the glasses. On my second call to Eyeconic, I was told to send evidence of the incorrect prescription. When I emailed the requested information, the response I received was the same - citing the 6-month remake policy. I called again to ask that my issue be escalated and was told there is no one else that I can speak with. The agent said he would consult the department that makes the glasses and someone would call me back. I also called VSP, the company who owns Eyeconic, and was told they are a separate company and the VSP agent could not provide any information on how or to whom my concern could be escalated. At this point, I do not want to have glasses re-made. I would like a refund.
