Horrible company to do business with. Bad customer service, delays, no responses to emails, orders take 3 times longer than promised. These guys don't deserve to be in business. The only reason they exist is because they are owned by VSP.

Same problem as everyone else. When I pulled up the site to order, there was no (zero, nada, none) indication that the process would take almost 5 weeks. If they had been honest, I would not have ordered from eyeconic. I have called twice. One time the glasses were finished and sitting in a 'bin' to be quality checked. I was told that would take 10-12 days. 10 days later I call back, and I am told that their shipping dept was shut down for two days and so now it will be another 7-10 days before the glasses will ship. UNACCEPTABLE. My husband ordered glasses from eyeconic and it took longer than anticipated (20 days) but this experience is ridiculous. "I'm sorry" and "COVID" are not cutting it. If you can't deliver on your current orders, eyeconic, then stop taking new orders and reallocate resources to catch up. Maybe call the Chick-fil-a people and get some process help. This is a follow-up to my 1-25-21 Review. I called back to VSP yesterday and talked to a representative and a supervisor. I basically said I ordered my glasses on 12-31-20 and still have not received them. I've been told by Eyeconic that I would be lucky to receive them maybe the second week of February. I told the VSP lady this was unacceptable and I need my glasses now. That this has gotten beyond ridiculous. They put me on hold and called Eyeconic and was told this. My glasses were sent to a Lab in NY to be made!!! Eyeconic is in California. Then my glasses were mailed to Eyeconic in California. Allegedly they are sitting in their distribution department which is 2 weeks behind. Then they will mail them to me in Charlotte NC. This is clear as mud and logistically makes no sense. The representative said I was the 5th person she had spoken to yesterday with the exact same issue. To the people that act like this is normal to wait 30-45 days plus to receive your glasses you are foolish. In 2020 or 2021 it should not take this long to make glasses and ship them to the customer. If it will take this long please let me know before I place my order so I will be sure not to place my order. Telling me to lay off this company tells me that you are ok with a company making promises to its customers yet having no intention of fulfilling those promises. If you are really ok with this wait then it appears that you really don't depend on your glasses daily to live or conduct your business. This is not a good company to do business with and this is not how you treat customers. Miraculously as a courtesy to me VSP is allowing me to go to a local Optometrist here in Charlotte and they are covering the total expense of my glasses since its been so long and no one can even guarantee when or if I will ever receive my glasses from Eyeconic. Keep in mind though I did ask when does this become insurance fraud since Eyeconic used my benefits and got or is getting paid from VSP yet the services have not been rendered. They can't keep blaming the delay on Covid either. Plenty other business have learned to adapt to provide their respective services to their customers. Eyeconic does not need to reach out to me or verify if I'm real or not. They allegedly wanted my order number after my first review to follow up with me. I gladly provided that information in the email they sent me on 1-25-21 and no one ever reached out to me. So that let me know they could care less about customer service. Please tell all your friends, family, and co workers to run far away from this company.

Ordered my glasses on December 30, 2020. It is now February 1, 2021 and the glasses are still pending. So far, the wait has been 4.5 weeks. I was told yesterday that they should probably ship next week. Ridiculous. The COVID-19 excuse can only carry so far.

Ordered glasses for son on Dec 31 - here it is Feb 1 - no glasses. Even with COVID it should not take this long. I went in and ordered my glasses from a store - two weeks later went to pick them up. Hoping my sons will arrive soon as he just broke his and he’s wearing an old pair with different prescription. Note - I think they did not plan ahead for the rush to get the VSP insurance plan filled by the end of year. ( which is what I did) On Jan 1st the VSP plan starts over again. Follow up - 7 days ago they replied to this review that glasses would be shipped out at the end of the week. Still no glasses or indication that it was shipped.

Order number EYECMO101061811. Terrible experience! Ordered on 31 December 2020. Prescription validated long back. Since then, it's been in "lab processing". Tried calling 1-855-393-2664 a few times and stayed on hold 30+ minutes but no one picked up. I think that it's a scam purposely created to discourage from buying online and making people pay high prices in Dr. shops. This is my last time with VSP / Eyeconic. Next time EyeBuyDirect. As far as I can remember, it was almost the same price without insurance.

Worst scam ever! I ordered from them last year and they were painfully slow- but this year takes the cake. I’m not sure why I haven’t gotten my glasses- it’s been 28 days and the site says pending. If you don’t need glasses to see- then by all means order from here. If, like me, you need them to function- run far, far away, place in order in another galaxy located in another dimension, run back- and you’ll still have glasses quicker then iconic can make them. Not. Worth. The. Aggravation.

Ordered the glasses on the 26th of December. Okay; cool; 22 day approximate turnaround? A little longer than my optometrist; but okay. Day 22: sorry, your selected glasses have gone out of stock. Choose a pair of the same value. I was using vision benefits, wasn’t quite sure about the price of the glasses I ordered. ....... you couldn’t have figured this out beforehand? Like, by having proper stock? Okay, chose a different pair. Thinking “lenses are going to be made”. Exciting. 10 days later..... still no update. Haven’t shipped. This is the worst experience I’ve had getting anything into my hands.
