I don't like that they only have name-brand frames which inflates the overall cost. My insurance covered some of the cost, but even with insurance, they cost nearly the same as glasses I bought from a different company without insurance. My prescription and lens choices didn't change. It's also been over a month and my glasses still haven't shipped. I ordered another set from a different company about 2 weeks after I ordered from Eyeconic and the other company has already shipped my order.

My order went up two times for pricing. From $35 to almost $100. Then I got a cancellation notice then i got a UPS tracking number, then another cancellation notice. One of them stated there was a system glitch and I needed to re-order. Then another shipping email as I watched it in route to my house.

Ordered prescription sunglasses using VSP insurance. Eyeconic verified script with doctor and still sent the sunglasses with no prescription lenses (just how I could buy them off the shelf). Now to wait another 2-3 weeks to return and hopefully receive the correct sunglasses. Hope this doesn't mess with the warranty.

Cancelled orders twice due to out of stock frames and lost 2023 frame benefit because this unorganized crappy company decided to notified me 2 weeks after I placed order in Dec and 2023 benefits are gone...

We have been customers for several years now and placed an order for our yearly glasses. But we received an email canceling the order because my husband's ranges were outside of their allowed policy HOWEVER his eyes had not really changed much from the year before. Come to find out Eyeconics has a policy where if the prescription does not fit within a certain range Eyeconics will cancel the order. The sphere needs to be in certain increments like 2.25 or 2.50 not 2.37. So beware that this is not stated anywhere on their website and they will do nothing to help fill the order but tell us to go to another doctor and have that doctor give a prescription more in line with their range requirements.

They put a pending charge at the time of order, which then disappears a few days later and reappears when they actually ship the order a few weeks later which completely screws up personal accounting. I HATE it when companies do this. Then it is impossible to upload the pic of prescriptions on phone or laptop and they apparently made little to no effort to contact LensCrafters to get it. Very obvious case of not caring that their policies make things extremely difficult for their customers. I am so annoyed that I got VSP vision insurance.

Bait and switch Showed $35 for price. Then at the checkout screen shows an additional $15 for copay, even though initial price was "with insurance." At checkout, tax was $20 or 40% of the purchase price, because it was based on the price before insurance coverage was applied. I wouldn't have shopped with them if I knew the total would be twice the listed price, but once I spent an hour picking out a frame, I didn't want to start again somewhere else. Never again and I can't believe VSP recommends them.
