Technical support Extreme Kartz

I purchased the EZGO EB Power AC Conversion Kit for my 2000 EZGO TXT Golf Cart by Eco Battery from Extreme Kartz on June 29th, 2026, and received it on July 3rd. The delivery experience was great and was fast and no issues. I installed it on July 4th and had an issue with the throttle adapter that came with the kit. It had a different configuration than my golf cart's throttle connector, so it would not fit. I reached out to support on that day, but obviously they would be closed because of the holiday. They did respond back to me on July 6th, and I sent them pictures of what was going on with the adapter. I have been waiting to see what they can do for me and finally after I reached out to them a few times they got back to me on the 9th of July saying they are reaching out to Eco Battery support to see if they have a solution for my situation. I was not happy to find out that they waited until now to seek support, so I reached out to Eco Battery support myself on July 9th at 12:32pm, by 2pm they responded and by 2:40pm the part I needed was shipped. I now have a running golf cart with no thanks to the Extreme Kartz support team. The reason for this review is as of July 21st I have not heard any response about my part from Extreme Kartz and would still have no running cart if I was relying on the horrible support from Extreme Kartz.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad the kit arrived quickly and that Eco Battery was ultimately able to provide the correct throttle adapter, but we understand why the support process left you frustrated. Your complete technical support ticket, including the requested photos, was received on July 7. Because the adapter provided did not match your cart’s throttle connector, our technicians needed to confirm the correct part with Eco Battery rather than risk giving you incorrect wiring instructions or recommending that you splice anything without verification. As explained in our technical support FAQ, our team aims to respond within one business day, although timing can vary depending on current support volume. Since we are not the manufacturer of most products we sell, some cases also require manufacturer involvement, which can affect the resolution time. Our technician contacted you on July 9 to confirm that we were working directly with Eco Battery, and Eco responded that same day advising that you needed the A-4173 adapter and that they would send it directly once they gathered the necessary information from you. That said, we agree that once Eco Battery confirmed they had you covered, our technician should have followed up to verify that the replacement had shipped and that you were back up and running. That follow-up did not happen, and the technician involved has been spoken with so we can help prevent the same communication gap moving forward. Our Head of Customer Care also attempted to reach you by phone and left a voicemail to discuss the experience directly. We’re sorry that the lack of final follow-up made you feel unsupported after Eco became involved. We appreciate the honest feedback and remain available to help with any additional questions about the kit or installation.
