Bad experience with them. They claim they cover loss in shipping but they won’t issue you a refund. A “virtual card” I am not happy with that. That’s not coverage at all! Don’t use them go straight to the merchant and don’t even bother paying for extend “insurance”.

I bought furniture from Ashley three years ago, and at the time of purchase, they did a great job explaining how the protection plan would cover everything. It sounded very reliable, and they sold it as a trustworthy insurance plan. Now my furniture is broken, and the insurance company (Extend) has been extremely frustrating to deal with. First, they scheduled two virtual visits. After that, they said someone would come in person, but just 15 minutes before the appointment, they canceled, saying the technician’s car broke down. Then they rescheduled me for one month later. I contacted Extend again to complain, and they referred me to another company. Someone came, said it could be repaired, and reported it. The following week, another person came and said it could NOT be repaired. On top of that, they hadn’t even opened a proper case file, so he said he couldn’t do anything and left. They issued a credit for one broken item, but for the other, they opened yet another case. Then the technician who originally said it could be repaired came back, took a picture of my door from outside, claimed no one answered the bell, and left—without even properly attempting the visit. When I called Extend again, they told me I need to schedule yet another appointment. It has now been two months. A broken item is clearly broken—why is this taking so long? This situation has been extremely stressful. I have a small child at home, and I’ve been forced to live with a broken couch because I’m still waiting on the company. I can’t even throw it away while this process drags on. Should I be more upset about the time I’ve wasted, or the fact that I’ve had to live with broken furniture for months? When they sell you the protection plan, they make it sound so reliable—but in my experience, it’s nothing but stress and frustration.

(Update) to my review is that Extend got back to me and was able to send me money for the damaged parts. I would still not buy from parts geek again but might consider using extend in the future if I need. Very happy with the resolution. (Old post) My parts from parts geek there are main bearings for the crank were damaged inside there packaging which mean they were shipped out that way or damaged by the carrier but still damaged. Made a claim and was denied? First off why was damaged caused by the seller not covered under this warranty?? Why buy a protection plan if they are not going to cover there parts under warranty. So now I have to buy new bearings for the customer and take a lose which I can sue for and might have to at this point. Do not buy this scam of a warranty and never buy parts from parts geek!!

Immediate denial of claim, push off blame to the shipping company and whoever else who is not them. My package was delivered to the wrong address and they WOULD NOT cover it.

I placed an order on Jomashop.com for the Kilian Paris Love Don't Be Shy 3.4 Fl Oz perfume. I tried to open a claim with Extend shipping protection, which was denied as I needed to wait several days after delivery to fix the claim for non receipt of the package. I waited and was still unable to do so, so I had to call Extend and file it over the phone. My claim was filed and approved by Extend/Jomashop. I was expecting to be refunded to my original form of payment which was supposed to be $320.21. Instead, I was refunded to a gift card. I no longer want the item as I have already purchased it elsewhere after everything I've experienced with this company. I called Jomashop today, Fri 4/24/26, the same day the gift card refund was issued and the wait time was long. I called twice. I was told that refunds can not be issued back to my form of payment. I was shocked and upset, to be told to contact Extend. As I contacted Extend Shipping Protection, I was told that only Jomashop has the ability to refund me back to my original form of payment. I called back, asking to speak with a supervisor. Their customer service hours are shorter on Fridays as well. I do not want a gift card. Repeat, I DO NOT WANT THE GIFT CARD TOTALING $320.21. I WANT THE MONEY FROM THIS ORDER # M40CB9AC, REFUNDED BACK TO MY ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT. I DO NOT LIKE WHAT HAS TRANSPIRED AND I WILL CALL JOMASHOP UNTIL I RECEIVE THE MONEY BACK TO MY CARD. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I HAVE NO INTEREST IN DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

I tried to file a claim but they would not cover it stating they do not cover punctures due to specific things. I don't know what happened and there is not a whole in my mattress protector(showing I am trying to keep it nice). And they refuse to refund me when their site clearly states they cover punctures! It's the WHOLE reason I boughy the mattress in the first place

We were told our warranty would cover accidental damage to our wood table, including household stains. Our claim to repair a mark on the table was denied without explanation. I called to find out why, and first they gave me one excuse, and when I explained why that wasn't valid they came up with another one. ———————————————————————- After posting the above review, Extend reached out to me and made efforts to address my concerns. Although it has not been completely resolved as of yet, I feel confident that the results ultimately will be what I expected when I purchased the warranty.

I placed an order through PartsGeek.com and never received the package. Parts Geek brushed me aside and refused to assist me with the issue. Fortunately, I had purchased the extended shipping protection, and they were able to step in and help resolve the situation. I’m very glad I added that protection, and moving forward, whenever I purchase items online, I will make sure to include shipping protection to ensure I’m fully covered.
