As our friends across the pond say, "Not fit for purpose." Prescriptions on autorefill, unable to find out when they will begin processing and ship, which is vital to securing the medication refills before I run out. As others describe, there is a unserviceable "robo agent" to get thru before getting an agent. Agents were rude and insulting, talked over me, and insisted that the information is on the website; one actually berated me and then accused me of being abusive. The information is not on the website, as the 4th and only competent agent admitted. I was on the phone for 2-1/2 hours over four phone calls to get the prescriptons "auto" refilled. I am sincerely hoping that, come November, I can find a Part D insurer who does not use this dreadful online "service."

I wish I could give zero stars
I wish I could give zero stars at this point. My doctor has told them that I need a 90 day supply of Insulin for my type one diabetes. Due to the fact that 30 day supply can end up either broken or out faster than 30 days if a life situation happens. ( Infections, stress, or life changes.) They have constantly refused for me to get the 90 day supply from the pharmacy. Said I have to order it through them. I am currently dealing with an infection and my insulin pump and CGM have been constantly giving me insulin like they are supposed to be doing. Called and told them fine I'll do the 90 day supply. They said I can not get the 90 day supply for another 4 days. I said well I am currently out and told them I am fighting an infection and I am on over the counter insulin. The rep. said I should not have ran out of a 30day supply of insulin yet.... Said I was not taking my insulin right and that I need instruction on how to take insulin I have been on for 20 plus YEARS!! I am sorry since when has anyone that is not living my life that does not have diabetes (or any illness) get to say that to anyone? If my company didn't go through this stupid insurance I would leave in a heart beat. My whole 29 years I have never had this issue until my company started to use them.. Absolutely insane.

Awful company
Have used this company for a long time with occasional problems. Was told by my Doctor that if I went to automatic refills they would decrease. Since the company is ? under new management?? Evernorth... I have been subjected to "prior authorizations". That have lasted months. Recently they have discontinued necessary medication for this and My Dr has sent them multiple correspondences. These are muscle relaxer that are necessary due to many health problems. I have been on these medications for years and they are treating them as if they are new. Instead of telling me that a medication was just too expensive they put it in limbo. My Dr would have replaced it!! The second is an old medication that is not expensive and was filled by my new pharmacy. Would not recommend this company to a worm. Since my complaint and ended using slow scripts they have sent me two apology letters and an approval of the medication, too little too late.

Avoid for Rx's
Terrible pharmacy service, everything is a hassle with them. You are lucky if you can understand the representative when you call. There is always an issue with the RX's and needing constant authorization for stuff. I spend more time doing appeals than it is worth!

Beyond Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service! I paid for overnight shipping and was charged, and did not receive my medication to 3 weeks! I am so unhappy and frustrated with Express Scripts company. They are incompetent and have no customer service skills. No solutions for this except to charge me and not refund my money on medication I didn’t receive! Terrible and I absolutely don’t recommend them at all. Don’t bother calling them because all you get is AI or the runaround. They are terrible!!

I would rate this company a ZERO…If you value your health, find another company. They make mistakes, don’t admit it and when all else fails, they will hang up on you.

Calling express scripts has become an…
Calling express scripts has become an ordeal. You have to go through a robot forever before getting an agent. Then after answering a few questions you are referred to another agent who will ask the same questions.Of course they are from India and not always easy to understand. I remember when it was so easy and helpful to call express scripts. What happened?

extremely disappointing…
I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Express Scripts.
My provider prescribed my medication on July 17. Because the medication required prior authorization, Express Scripts initiated the process. My insurance company requested that my provider complete a questionnaire, but my provider never received it. I had to repeatedly contact my provider before discovering this, and I then had to call Express Scripts myself to have the questionnaire resent.
The automated phone system is difficult to navigate, and reaching a live representative is unnecessarily challenging. Throughout this process, I have found that nothing seems to move forward unless I call and follow up myself.
After my provider resent the prescription yesterday, I called Express Scripts to confirm they had received it. I was told to call back the following day to request that the order be expedited because I had already been without my medication for two weeks. When I called back, I was informed that the prescription was incomplete and that they could not ship the medication without it. They said they were waiting to hear back from my provider.
At every step, I have had to coordinate communication between Express Scripts and my provider. There has been no proactive communication or follow-up from Express Scripts, leaving me to manage the process myself while going without an important medication.
I was also very concerned that one representative in the prior authorization department wouldn’t give me details on my own insurance information. As if my own personal information was confidential.
Overall, this has been an exhausting process that has delayed my treatment. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and repeated need for me to intervene at every stage have been unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would rate Express Scripts’ customer service 0 out of 10. I do not recommend anyone ever use Express scripts.
