Patient Beware
Criminals. I have used ES for many years. On 2/28/23, I reordered 3 maintenance meds, they are all generic. While waiting, I went to local RX to get some pills to hold me over. On 3/2/23, I received a call from ES telling me they wouldn’t ship my meds as my account was on hold due to me owing them $115. I looked online and I have a zero balance???. I ask what is it for, I don’t have a balance and my card is on file for any orders. I am informed that it is a charge from 12/21/20 that was turned over to collections on 8/24/21? She asked if I would like to talk to a nurse about the implications of not taking blood pressure medications. Seriously! After 8 phone calls, 2 supervisors and a whole bunch of fools, they tell me their records only go back 18 months and they don’t know why I owe them but I need to pay it for them to ship my meds. The last call they said it was my employer who sent it to collections. Really, they have the means to withhold from my check. Bunch of liars. Customer service has no means to contact their own account receivable department. They shipped meds for 2 years after this supposed hold was placed on me in August 21. They had my card on file. They can’t tell you why your account has a zero balance but want you to pay $115 owed to them before they ship my generic meds. they offer a nurse who can tell you what happens if you quit taking your meds. After 7 hours over the course of two weeks, I had my doctor cancel all prescriptions with ES and send them to a local pharmacy and to note in my file to send me for a mental evaluation if I ever tell them to send another prescription to Express Scripts.
