I wrote the same review for Accredo as they are both awful. I wish these reviews allowed to give 0 stars or even negative because that is what Accredo and Express Scripts deserve. Trust the reviews. They are all negative for a reason. It is a disgrace that my company is still doing business with this failure of an organization. I spent almost a month on over a dozen calls, talking to over 30-40 people. They never return calls when they say, and my doctor had to call about 6 times. Each time you call it is the first time. I will avoid using both companies ever again. I will spend much more just to avoid these awful companies and you should too. I finally called and canceled my prescription. I'm done.

Polite, but useless and misinformed customer service. I have been waiting for a prescription to be filled for days with absolutely no information available for shipment date. Multiple calls to customer service reps have assured me that the medication has been escalated and “prioritized”, and shipping expedited. But the yet the medication has not shipped or arrived. Nobody has any actual information, yet they assure the medical staff and patients that they are confident they will meet the needs. My learning here is to never use them in the future, if I want to save myself time and stress. If I could heave zero stars, I would!

we are forced to use this company then they refuse to do the one job they're hired to do.. BE A PHARMACY. This is the 2nd month in a row they have let me run out of medicine. Then they give me the run around. Call them and they give me nonsense responses like "have you thought about asking your Dr for a 90 day supply" gee I dunno have you thought about doing your damn job?! They'll tell me "well, since you're out now you can go to a local pharmacy." Yea now it'll take a week to get it from a local pharmacy. They can get it but not without notice. I can't wait until I'm not forced to use this garbage company. They'll do anything but their job.

I am a Registered Nurse working as a private duty nurse in a patient's home. The patient has a medical condition that has left him 100% incapacitated. His wife is having to handle everything. Because of the large number of medications he requires, I recommended she use the mail order pharmacy associated with her insurance, Express Scripts. What a disaster! They have contacted her repeatedly for bits and pieces of information. When she has attempted to contact someone - anyone alive and breathing! - at this company she is left on hold for incredibly extensive periods of time. Time she needs to be spending with her husband, her young children and her job. There seems to be a total lack of communication within the organization. I can understand the need for a healthcare POA, but people have called her demanding to "speak to the patient" because of HIPAA issues. The patient is non-verbal/comatose and they have been told that repeatedly. Bottom line, I feel absolutely horrible for suggesting she go this mail order route. She has now contacted the patients doctor and all will be handled through the original pharmacy. Sadly, I thought it would save her time and energy to have things delivered but in the end, it took up time and emotional energy. Very literally, this woman has lived through a type of hell that few of us could survive. I will never understand why healthcare partners/companies/providers make bad situations worse. I have to say, I've had my meds delivered through Optum for several years and I have never had an issue. Not once.

Express Scripts is the pharmacy for my Part D Medicare coverage. After a year of being on Wegovy due to “risk of cardiovascular disease and events” with proof of past myocardial infarction and a stent in the artery in my lower left ventrical, Express Scripts stopped coverage of my medication at the highest dosage level and left me in horrible stomach cramps and nausea at the age of 75. My doctor turned in the same prior authorization in accordance with FDA guidelines as he submitted a year before when Express Scripts granted coverage ( your heart never “heals” from a heart attack- the scarring and dysfunction is permanent); but Express Scripts denied my authorization and continues to do so. After contacting a patient advocate explaining that I was not even allowed to titrate down so as to not have this terrible pain, Express scripts sent a fake “sympathy” letter and promised two prescriptions to cover me until I could be re-evaluated. I eagerly filled out the paperwork through tears and had my doctor submit the two prescriptions; only to again be promptly denied due to “no prior authorization”. This company is evil and cruel. They have turned over authorizations to Innovative Solutions, robotic evaluators that only grant a percentage of authorizations for expensive meds whether you qualify or not -just like United Healthcare was doing. We have to use Express Scripts because they are the pharmacy for PEBA, my wife’s state insurance plan as a retired teacher; but if you have a choice, run fast and hard away from this cruel, mean company!

Can’t login with express scripts. I can’t get help on the phone. I have spent hours on hold. Absolutely the worst customer service ever.

According to FedEx, my package hasn't been shipped. They just created a label to make it look like they did something. They told me the pharmacy was closed, yet they were not, in fact, closed when I called. There's something wrong with every person who works there. Don't use these people. They're worthless. They keep asking if I'm out of my medication. What's it to them? They charged me for expedited shipping and tried blaming it on FedEx, like Google doesn't exist.

It’s impossible to reach a live person. Canceled one order and can’t explain why. Mfpr a second order my doctor sent a prescription and when I went to fill it, I received a message stating the MD requested to not send this prescription. Called the doctor and they didn’t know what they were taking about. The phone number goes to an automated system with no way of reaching a live agent. It turns out my local Walgreens is less expensive anyway.
