I stopped using Express Scripts last year when they failed to fill a prescription on a timely basis. I decided to give them a second chance last week and sent in a new prescription. I was given an estimated delivery date of 8 days after the date of the order. On the day before I was to receive the prescription, Express Scripts informed me that they needed another 8 business days. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will never use Express Scripts again.

Express Scripts left me a voicemail today saying they had important questions for me and to please call back. When I called, it was an automated customer satisfaction survey to find out why I had recently filled an Rx through a local retail pharmacy vs through Express Scripts. Well this is why--my local pharmacy doesn't mislead me and waste my time with unnecessary phone calls!

Processing times are medieval. Customer service is rude and incompetent. They’ve never once provided a useful piece of information. This place is unethical and should be audited and shuttered.

I can’t wait until all my refills are all done. I get a 90 day supply. It use to be an automatic refill, since Evernorth EnGuide Pharmacy took over filling this particular medication there’s no more automatic refills. Prior each time I’d phone in my prescription these incompetent reps gives me a difficult time. Always telling me I have 0 refills knowing good and well my doctor submitted numerous prescriptions with 3-4 refills. Those extra prescriptions was submitted on behalf and stupidity of them not knowing what the heck they’re talking about when requesting my doctor to submit them, then I’m sitting with many on file which my doctor did not need to send any. After speaking with their supervisor which I seem to always do. The supervisor finds all these unnecessary prescriptions Express Scripts reps claims they needed, a crock of bull, supervisor apologies and gets my medication submitted through after verifying it’s in stock…I am past due and a week ago the so called advocate stated she has it down to be filled 11/28/2025. Time pass with no text indicating it’s being shipped, I called tonite to find out where is it? Was told no order was placed, here we go again, rep tells me I have 0 refills. I gotten very heated and told her I’m looking at my refills and I have 2 left and another on file. Puts me on hold to check with the pharmacist about stock, comes back to inform me there not in until 5:00am and I need to call back. So how in the heck this rep wasn’t aware of their working hours, playing with patients intelligence once again. One reason I refused to allow any of my medications filled by ES, only the one and after my refills has been exceeded I’m kissing them goodbye for good. It’s a disgrace how ill sick patients has to fight to get their medications. The more ones complain it does absolutely nothing.

Again, express scripts is delaying my insulin and telling me (again) they've reached out to my doctor. Doctor again telling me ES have not contacted him. Called customer service, and problem NOT solved. This happens every 6 months with my diabetes RX. Worse business ever, and wish that Military Tricare would fine another mail order business to use!!

Literally the WORST company to get your medication from. They take 7 business days just to ship your medication (which is also a lie because it can take longer). What is express about that? I've used them twice now for 3 month fills, and each time it's been a headache and I've had to call customer service multiple times just to make sure they actually ship my medication. The only good thing they have are their pharmacists who seem knowledgable and will make sure you get what you need if you speak to one directly, other than that god help you if you need your meds on time. I'll never use them again. You are better off with literally any other pharmacy.

Pure garbage. These idiots rejected my asthma medication when I had covid. I was told that the medication required prior authorization. I filed a complaint and requested that someone get the prior authorization taken care of. I called back a day or so later and was told that the generic was covered and that I should go to the pharmacy to have them re-run the request. It was rejected yet again. It appears that the Manager at Express Scripts flat out lied about speaking to the in-house pharmacist regarding the generic.

First time using their pharmacy, Won't be using again!
