Everytime I need medication from express scripts there is a problem. Here lately I have been having a problem with them sending medication that I don't need so I put a stop on Auto refill that they automatically did themselves cause I never put any medication on auto refill then I had them fill a perscription for a medication that the doctor changed the dosage to called up there and they said the doctor sent the perscription in twice one for the old dosage and one for the new and they automatically refill new perscriptions I know for a fact the doctor didnt refill the old dosage but of course they lie up and down and dont want to admit it and then I am told that taking auto refill off does not cover new perscriptions I have to call back the next day and have consent to fill put on the account for each person on the account so no auto fills are done I should have been told that when I called and was told to turn off auto refill when I told them I didnt want to get medication I dont personally order. They keep refilling perscriptions that are not needed then by bill goes up and if I cant pay it I don't get the medication that we actually need my huband has had to go without his blood thinner because they kept sending heartburn medication that wasnt needed. They are going to kill somebody if they haven't already

Express Scripts is anything but express and they play games with your critical prescriptions. I have ordered prescriptions from them for the past few years and it always takes almost 2 weeks from ordering to when it arrives at your door. If you are going to work with them, know that you need to order with enough buffer. They have an auto refill that is scheduled to send in order to cover their 2 weeks, but they problem is that my doctor has updated my prescription because I am also taking another med that reduces my usage of my prescription and they never update it and so they send my prescriptions way before they run out and I end up stockpiling, so I set it on manual. In another case, while I cannot prove it, they purposely dragged my prescription into the next year and I lost my HSA deductible that would have covered it and had to pay for it out of my HSA funds again. This is after my doctor sent the information they required 4 times before they finally accepted it. There was no change in the info in what my doctor sent, it was the same thing 4 times, but why would it magically get accepted when the new year rolled over? I constantly get emails and phone calls from them to join their Omada program, almost to the point of harassment. At one point, they told me I could not get my prescription unless I joined it. I told them I would go elsewhere and my doctor changed my prescription to something else that was just as effective and cheaper and a different pharmacy. In short, they guys are slow to deliver, give you the run around on customer service, and play games. I am going to work on moving my other prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I'd rather pay a little more than to deal with these guys.

I am a retired USN E7 I became eligible for tricare home delivery through express scripts on May 1st 2026. My Dr Ordered refills on existing prescriptions through Express Scripts…nothing delivered. It is now July, 5 phone calls later, the told me to contact Tricare. I did, they said everything was up to date, so I call express scripts again and the customer service resubmitted all of my info, said give it 24 hrs and everything should work. TERRIBLE customer service, people who have no idea what they are doing and to top it off couldn’t understand the one rep.

Terrible pharmacy. Getting past the "bots" is nearly impossible. They ask questions I cannot answer about a new prescription. My first and last time. How do these clowns stay in business???

I am extremely disappointed with Express Scripts. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get my prescription transferred because Express Scripts told me they do not have the medication in stock. My local CVS pharmacy has it in stock, yet after another 30 minutes with the CVS pharmacist on the phone with Express Scripts, the issue still wasn't resolved. I eventually spoke with an Express Scripts supervisor, hoping the problem would finally be resolved. Instead, after hours of delays, she didn't call CVS until one minute after the pharmacy had already closed. She then told me I would have to call back the next day and start the process all over again. No one seemed to know how to handle what should have been a simple request. I was transferred multiple times, received conflicting information, and was left without my medication or a clear solution. When a pharmacy can't supply a prescribed medication, patients should not have to spend hours trying to obtain it. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and completely unacceptable. Patients deserve knowledgeable customer service, timely communication, and a process that doesn't create unnecessary barriers to accessing essential medication.

Terrible communications. Completely out of a script fo 2 weeks.....Recieved a letter it was 'delayed'....so after another week I check their site and now it says it has been cancelled. It takes 20 minutes to talk to a real person and they were no help. Disgusting!

They are the slowest and worse pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Takes them over 7 days to refill my medication and they refills of existing meds I have a current prescription for. I will never you this company again and I will be transferring all my medication as soon as I can. I would recommend never to use this place.

Like every other diabetic here, Express Scripts tries as hard as it can to kill me by refusing to fill my valid Rx. I have reported this to my state’s insurance commissioner (OIC) because Express Scripts is causing endless delays and disruptions to my care by refusing to honor and fill valid prescriptions. Everyone else should file complaints with your state’s OIC too. We deserve better.
