THE BEST ANT STORE
I received my ants within 4 days of being shipped, and not a single ant seemed to be dead or injured. I really appreciated how they wrapped the ants in a heating foil so they wouldn't suffer within England's cold climate. The only thing I would suggest, would be to pre drill the containers in which the ants are stored and then plug it up. I struggled to get the colony into the outworld as there was no way to transfer the colony without opening the entire lid. But this is not related to the service or to the quality of the ants, which where again excellent !

Thank you for your review, and constructive suggestions. The usual procedure on arrival is to place the whole container in the outworld and simply remove the lid of the container, then when the ants are ready they will move out on their own accord without any loss. If the outworld is too small to hold the container then in all reality you need a larger outworld, as many exotic species roam and hunt over large areas, and confining them to a very small area will be detrimental to the colony. It would be possible to pre-drill a connecting hole but only for certain species, as some species such as Tetraponera and other wood-dwelling species would simply spend the time in transit tearing away at the sealing plug - with the likely result of them escaping within the box. We will be reviewing suggestions over the winter and probably will in the future incorporate a pre-drilled hole in the containers for certain species, which as you say will help in their movement into their new homes.
