The Tolulope Michael Cybersecurity Jobs Training Challenge had a very positive impact on me. It helped me clearly understand cybersecurity career paths and what it takes to succeed in the field. The sessions were practical, easy to understand, and motivating, which boosted my confidence and gave me a clear direction toward building a cybersecurity career. I’m truly grateful for the value and guidance provided.

False Advertising & poor customer service
The enrollment process gives a false narrative of the content that will be delivered in the class. They continually state that the 5 day class will give you all that you need to be successful in GRC, but you will very quickly discover that the 5 day challenge provides only surface level information. They promise a lot of support before enrolling but you will discover that it will not be provided except you enroll in one of their $12000- $20,000 programs. This is a problem with false advertising, and setting the wrong expectation. I physically witnessed other individuals complain about this during the program, but Tolu was quick to brush them off without attending to their concern
The content delivered in those 5 days is not worth roughly $700. So I will recommend any potential client ask these questions clearly. They are more eager to get you enrolled be collecting your money than to respond to your emails or questions when you ask them. The deliberately leave you only emails to reach them with no phone numbers to call them, so that it is easier for them to ignore your request. I requested a refund on the 2nd day after discovering that I was being given surface information but till now no one has responded. So please be careful of this group.

Hello Tee,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely appreciate hearing from participants and take concerns around expectations, service delivery, and communication very seriously.
Our 5-Day Cybersecurity Job Challenge is designed to provide structured exposure to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), with clear information shared during enrollment about what the program includes.
For those who wish to continue, advanced training, extended mentorship, and long-term career support are available through our optional programs.
We respectfully disagree with any claims of false advertising or intentional misrepresentation. Program scope, pricing, and the support provided are clearly outlined prior to enrollment.
We would also like to clarify that participants are not intentionally ignored; however, during periods of high demand, response times may be longer than usual. This is an area we are actively working to improve.
We value transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement, and we would welcome the opportunity to review your concerns more closely. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] so we can better understand your experience and address it appropriately.

The guy is a fraud with sugarcoated Mouth
It's unfortunate that I didn't discover this page before trusting my money with this person. He persuaded us to pay $679 for a five-day webinar, and throughout the sessions, he constantly shared one story after another. At the end of the five days, he presented a tempting offer to become a "real" student, which included help with my resume, assistance in fixing my LinkedIn profile, and support in finding a job.
He claimed, and I quote, "We have a company that we work with that will disburse your balance for your school fees of $11k, All you need to do is make a one-time deposit of $1,599 so that our company knows you are serious." After making that payment, I didn’t hear anything for three days until someone contacted me, stating that I needed to make an additional payment of $3,000. I explained that I was waiting for the company they mentioned to disburse the money.
Instead, they sent me two loan links to apply for loans. The bottom line is: do not trust his deceptive stories. Most of the webinar sessions were pre-recorded. He is a scammer and is collaborating with others to obtain people's credit and debit card information.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take concerns like this seriously and remain committed to transparency, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Our 5-Day Cybersecurity Job Challenge is designed as a training experience for all interested in transitioning into cybersecurity.
All program details, including pricing, structure, and progression options, are clearly communicated during registration.
Participation beyond the challenge is entirely optional, and no individual is required to enroll in any advanced program unless they choose to do so.
Where payment plans or financing options are mentioned, these are facilitated through independent third-party providers and are not administered by our organization.
We respectfully disagree with any implication of fraud or misuse of personal information. Our programs include a combination of live sessions and structured resources, and enrolled participants receive documented services such as career guidance, resume support and more in line with the program scope.
While we regret that this experience did not align with your expectations, we are open to reviewing your concerns directly and encourage you to contact our support team ([email protected]) so we can look into your specific case.

Pre-Recorded Content Presented as Live Session
I'm not gonna say much, because I BLAME myself for not making research about them before payment, Well, I'm still a little bit happy i only made an initial payment through Sezzle payment platform, I have canceled my card so no further payment comes through and I have reported the fraud to Sezzle
This video you all are watch video that was recorded over a year now.
They are used the video to scam thousands of people
Response from ExcelmindcyberJan 22, 2026
Hi Felix,
We hear your frustration, and we appreciate you taking the time to share this.
You mentioned doing research, and you're absolutely right that research is important. We want to make sure you have accurate information about what we do and how our program works.
Regarding recorded videos, we only send those to students who request them due to missing live sessions during the challenge. Our program is built around live training, but we understand life happens and people need flexibility. If there was confusion about this, that's something we need to clarify better on our end.
Now, about the "scam" accusation. We need to address that because it's a serious claim. We're a real company that's helped students land remote cybersecurity roles, and we stand firmly behind the work we do and the results our students achieve. We understand skepticism exists in this industry, and we don't take that lightly.
We'd genuinely like to understand what happened in your specific case. We're happy to discuss this via email at [email protected].
We want to hear your side: what you enrolled in, what you experienced, and what led you to this conclusion.

This institution is misleading
This institution is misleading, I still maintain. During the course, we were taught that LinkedIn recommendations and reviews can be solicited from friends — even those who are not industry experts — simply to build a profile in the absence of real experience. With that in mind, it is not surprising that critical posts are often flooded with positive reviews.
After sharing my experience, my review was quickly overwhelmed by glowing comments from individuals seemingly connected to the institution.
The training offered little practical value or genuine career support, particularly for students based in Africa. The expectations created during recruitment were not met at all.
If you are serious about building a legitimate career in cybersecurity, I strongly advise looking elsewhere and choosing a credible, reputable provider.
Response from ExcelmindcyberJan 20, 2026
Dear Lethiwe,
Thank you for sharing your perspective, and we want to address your points thoughtfully.
We are emphatic on authenticity and genuine professional visibility, not fabricating recommendations or experience.
Building a legitimate professional profile is foundational to everything we teach, and any suggestion otherwise doesn't reflect our standards or values.
We're concerned to hear that the training didn't meet your expectations. We are actively serving students globally, and we are constantly working to ensure our support reaches everyone globally. If there were gaps in the support you received, that's something we want to understand and address immediately.
Our email track list is filled with students who have secured jobs in major companies, but we recognize that every individual's experience matters. Please reach out to [email protected]. with your specific situation.
We are always looking to improve and ensure every student gets the support they need to succeed.

Waste of time and money
They just collect your money and do nothing. Their fees is outrageously high. Before they start they will indirectly force people give reviews them good reviews or they will not move forward. Complete scam. They refuse to make refunds.
Response from ExcelmindcyberJan 20, 2026
Dear Okechukwu,
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we want to address your concerns directly.
Our pricing reflects the premium, white glove nature of our programs and the caliber of transformation we facilitate for serious professionals committed to building six figure cybersecurity careers.
With an 87% job placement rate and students landing positions at Fortune 500 companies, we are confident in the exceptional value we deliver.
Regarding reviews, we never require positive feedback as a condition for moving forward in our programs. That would go against everything we stand for. If you felt pressured in any way, that's not reflective of our values, and we'd like to understand what happened.
As for refunds, our policy is clearly stated at enrollment. If you have specific concerns about this, please reach out to [email protected] so we can review your case.

I attended the 5 day challenge this…
I attended the 5 day challenge this week and was excited and skeptical but l pushed through to realize this was a scam. I feel so disappointed l should have researched if Tolulope Micheal had complaints. I never got back my results back from the test l completed. Day 5 came l paid 1,599.00 but still l got not results from test that was required to be accepted into program. Now l have to go through a dispute process with my bank and dissatisfaction of knowing my hard earned 1,599.00 was wasted and may never get my money back . I’m a Federal Government employee with the US Department of Treasury and Tolulope Michael is a fraud and scammer!

Based on my personal experience
Based on my personal experience, Tolulope Michael’s program came across as deeply deceptive and scam. I paid roughly $7,000 with the expectation of meaningful support, interviews, and progress toward a job. None of that happened. I did not receive a single remote interview, and the promised involvement, especially if no interviews occurred never materialized.
From what I went through, the entire program is a Big scam. I felt misled by the promises that were made, and the lack of follow-through was extremely disappointing and costly. I’m sharing this so others can be aware and think carefully before investing their money or trust in this program.
