Thank you for holding us accountable. We fully agree that trust is earned through transparency, and we fell short here. We have permanently shut down the AI Headshot Generator because we realized it didn't align with our commitment to you. We do not, and will not, use your images to train our AI. We are dedicated to doing better and focusing strictly on the retouching tools that empower your unique work. While we have your attention, it would mean the world to us if you have other complaints or feedback for us, every word from each and every one of our customers are most valuable, and we would love to know what else we can do better. Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us.

Thank you for your sincere comment. We at Evoto want to address your concerns with the transparency you deserve. We understand why the timeline of the AI Headshot pilot and our standard Terms & Conditions have caused such a deep breach of trust. On Data & Training: We want to be definitive—Evoto does not use your photos or your clients’ photos to train our AI models. While our T&Cs include broad, standard industry language regarding "licenses" to allow the software to technically process and render your images in the cloud, our policy is strict: we build our models using only commercially purchased, licensed datasets. On the T&Cs: We hear you. We realize that "standard" legal language can feel like a betrayal when trust is at stake. We are currently reviewing our Terms and Conditions to ensure they more accurately reflect our actual practice: your work is your own, and your privacy is a cornerstone of our platform. On the Headshot Generator: You are right that we explored this frontier, but we quickly recognized it does not align with our mission. We have permanently removed the feature. We are not your competition; our goal is to handle the heavy lifting of post-production to give you your time back—not to take your place behind the lens. While we have your attention, it would mean the world to us if you have other complaints or feedback for us, every word from each and every one of our customers are most valuable, and we would love to know what else we can do better. Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us.

We hear the depth of your frustration and realize that our initial communications felt inadequate. Trust is the most valuable asset we have, and we clearly fell short in how we managed this pilot. To be absolutely clear: The AI Headshot Generator has been permanently shut down. We want to address the "other site" concern directly: Evoto does not have a secondary site or platform where this tool is hidden. We recognized that this specific technology does not align with our mission to empower professionals, so it has been fully decommissioned from our ecosystem. On Data Ethics: We want to reassure you that you were never "lab rats." Evoto does not use your photos or your clients’ photos to train our AI. Our models are developed using strictly licensed, commercially purchased datasets. We are a tool for post-production—designed to give you your time back, not to replace the irreplaceable connection between a photographer and their subject. While we have your attention, it would mean the world to us if you have other complaints or feedback for us, every word from each and every one of our customers are most valuable, and we would love to know what else we can do better. Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us.

We hear you, and we agree. We have officially and permanently shut down the AI Headshot Generator. We recognize that this tool felt like a direct threat to the very industry that built Evoto. Our mission is to empower photographers, not replace them. We realize that by even piloting this feature, we crossed a line that compromised the trust of the community that has supported us from the beginning. We want to be clear on where we stand now: Human Artistry is Irreplaceable: We believe the soul of a portrait comes from the connection you have with your subject. A machine cannot replicate that. Data Integrity: We do not use your photos or your clients’ photos to train our AI. Your work is your own, and your privacy is a cornerstone of our platform. We are refocusing 100% of our energy on being your partner—handling the heavy lifting of post-production so you can spend more time doing what you do best: being behind the lens. While we have your attention, it would mean the world to us if you have other complaints or feedback for us, every word from each and every one of our customers are most valuable, and we would love to know what else we can do better. Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us.

We hear your loud and clear, and we fully agree, therefore we want to address this directly: Evoto does not use your photos, your clients’ photos, or your intellectual property to train our AI. We understand how deeply concerning the idea of 'stolen images' is to a professional creator. Please be assured that our AI models are built exclusively using strictly licensed, commercially purchased datasets. Your work is—and has always been—your own. Protecting your data integrity and privacy is a cornerstone of our platform. We also want to share that we have permanently removed the AI Headshot Generator. We realized that this tool did not align with our core mission: to build tools that empower photographers, not replace them. While we have your attention, it would mean the world to us if you have other complaints or feedback for us, every word from each and every one of our customers are most valuable, and we would love to know what else we can do better. Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us.

Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to write this review, we are grateful that you have shown us what we could do better. Regarding the customer support experience, we have located the conversation you mentioned and it is indeed not ideal, the support agent resposible will be resummited to further training and disciplined accordingly. We are truly sorry for the frustration. As for the rumor about AI, while we understand your concern, we must point out that we do not use customers' photos for our development, only commecially acquired datasets. Please rest assured our goal has been, and always will be, to be a handy tool for photographers. Thanks again for your comment, we looking forward to hearing more from all of you.
