I had been a customer since 2015, and now I have a debt collector fee running AGGRESSIVELY behind me for a $495 cancellation fee + another $600 for whatever they're claiming. I must have forgotten I signed a lifetime agreement with them. EVO Payments is Bad News. Stay away from them.

I was directed to EVO payments from one of their partners EPOS now. I had signed a contract that determined rates and other details thinking it was a good deal. Their contract states it is only active when they approve your contract and by signing it I was not automatically approved. I was told I needed to send them 2 years of my business financials to become approved. This condition was not indicated in the contract and was new & mandatory for my approval. I announced that I was going to withdraw my application because it wasn't approved yet but they instantly approved my account that same day without the required documents. They locked me into their contract and debited my account $820 for assorted fees and the terminal purchase price. It has been 5 months trying to get a portion of my money back. Still have not received all of my money back.

They required me to open a new account when I wanted to add a mobile terminal. New account included a $49 monthly PCI fee -- which they never notified me about -- nor did they email me about it because they neglected to add my email to my account data. When I did learn that they were charging me they refused to refund the collected fees but acknowledged they did not need to create a new account for me in the first place. They are money-grubbing pigs and will do anything to keep as much as they can of yours.

Could I give this company less than one star? After fight for 3 weeks to get $3000 in payments processed on their machine paid I canceled them. A month later I get charged a total of $1000 for a cancellation fee. You can’t speak to a manager, you have to send emails that they don’t reply to. Worst business decision ever. STAY FAR FAR AWAY

This is a SCAM Company, they will charge you fees out your ears and you can't do anything about it. They charged me fees even when i never used their equipment. They are very malicious. Do not sign up with them. I was charged $2000 UDS to cancel due to their unfair practice of charging me fees for no use of their machines. This is sickening.

STAY FAR AWAY I received my machine after a contact from Xpay. I never heard about EVO before, unfortunately. So I start using the machine and processed £1800 payments in 48 hours. Then I received an email from their security department stating that they were blocking my account because of my conduct... So basically I couldn't use the machine provided??? SERIOUSLY? So now, 1 month later, they still hold £1800 of MY money, I shipped products to my customers to not loose them. A customer canceled his order, they refused to refund the transaction, even they money in in their hands. NOBODY is telling me when I will get the money and why I got blocked. So I can only assume that they are discriminating gay businesses and they they don't like gay underwear's. They are scamming, it's pretty clear that I'm not the only one, so stay VERY FAR AWAY FROM THOSE GANGSTERS

It was a big mistake going with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone. A one-month notice of cancellation isn't enough for them. They want 3 months or they renew your account. If they renew your account and you still wish to cancel they will charge you an early termination fee.
