Evite invitations appear as SPAM so most people block and delete with out reading about your event
I paid over $100 CAD to use Evite for sending invitations to a group of more than 50 people, expecting it to be a reliable and professional way to manage RSVPs. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations. After following up with several invitees, I discovered that many had either not seen the invitation or had deleted it because it appeared to be spam in their inbox. This significantly impacted attendance and created extra work, as I had to reach out manually to confirm whether people had received the invite. While Evite offers convenience and design options, the deliverability issue is a major drawback—especially when you’re paying for the service and relying on it for an important event. Overall, I would be cautious about using Evite for larger or more important gatherings unless you’re prepared to follow up with guests through other channels. It may still work for casual events, but in my case, it did not provide the reliability I expected for a paid service.
