Glad I had my own router because the internet provider didn't have any routers to install. Since I live in an apartment complex I was told that I would receive two months free I had to call to get a credit applied to my account, I have been trying to get my Security code for two weeks now to view my account online and was told they would have to call me back with the code (NO RESPONSE). Record keeping need to straighten out the Billing and Account information from Consolidated Communications.

download speed is ok but never gets…
download speed is ok but never gets close to stated "up-to" Mb per second transfer. Upload speed is bad. I'm guessing that Everfast depends on people like me that focused on the Gig download speed and never asked about the upload speed.

Thank you for the review. To get an accurate measure of your true download speed, it is important to make sure you are wired directly to the router with the device that is performing the test. Any tests done over WiFi will reflect a download speed less than the subscribed speed. https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-check-your-internet-speed . For upload speeds, most users can get by with upload speeds that are less than the download speeds. On our HFC network, a 1 GB plan has an upload speed of approximately 25 Mbps. This is sufficient for a full household that streams, does online gaming, video calls, etc. Where it becomes problematic is when you need to consistently upload extremely large files (full length HD videos, graphic design files, etc.).
