No ink, no production, bad for business
What would happen if you get a car that uses specialized tires that you can't get? Or special oil that you can get? Would you buy this car? Well, I got your printer and now I can't use it, missing deadlines just because you decided not to make enough ink. Since I can't buy it anywhere our machine is down. No ink from you, Best Buy, bhphoto, adorama... nobody has it because you decided to not plan ahead and forecast demand... such a poor experience. Your ev1 could be a great money maker but now it is stopped until you decide to produce white ink for all the creators who thought, like me, that we were getting a machine from professionals... such disappointment.

We're sorry to bring you this inconvenience. We'd also like to explain the supply situation honestly rather than leave it vague. Our UV inks are formulated and calibrated specifically for these machines, which means they aren't something third-party retailers can stock or manufacture independently. We understand that this puts the whole responsibility for availability on us — and when we get stock levels wrong, as we have here, there's nowhere else for you to turn. That's not a defence, it's the reason we take white ink availability so seriously. Please email us at [email protected] with your printer's serial number and the specific ink SKUs you need. We'll check current stock and your order, give you a real restock date rather than an open-ended wait, and look at what we can do to prioritise your supply so your machine isn't sitting idle.
