Replacing a pair that was lost, i bought 5 of them to always have ine on hand. I use them for sporting clays. They are comfortable and reduce the noise sufficiently whilee still allowing me to hear conversations. They are also great for using at music venues to reduce the loud music to tolerable levels while retaining most of the fideleity.

I purchased the ER4SR earphones for my studio. After reading and watching several reviews, I was somewhat skeptical, but still wanted to give them a chance. The package arrived about a week after ordering and was very well put together. I proceeded to insert them into my ears—pushing them in far enough until the exterior room sound vanished, just as instructed. I pulled up some of my favorite tracks and was immediately blown away by the clarity. As a classically trained musician (30+ years playing percussion and piano) and an audio engineer (20+ years in live FOH, broadcast TV, recording, mixing, and mastering), I can confidently say these are some of the best earphones I have ever heard. Many reviews claim these lack bass, but I think that stems from two main misconceptions. First, bass frequencies are fundamentally meant to be supporting frequencies. In modern pop production, bass is often hyped to make it feel like a lead, "in-your-face" instrument—which is fine if that is the goal—but true acoustic balance treats the low end as a foundation. Second, standard eartips sit in the outer ear, causing physical housing vibrations that create an artificial sense of sub-bass. With the ER4SR, those artificial resonances are removed, providing an extremely transparent listening experience required for accurate mixing and mastering. My only negative is the initial discomfort that comes with the deep insertion depth. However, with a little Oto-Ease and some listening time, I expect my ear canals will adapt. Interestingly enough, the more I listen through these, the more I appreciate pieces of music I’ve adored for years—including Arturo Sandoval's "Sandunga," Earth, Wind & Fire's "In The Stone," and Rachmaninoff's "Piano Concerto No. 3."

I sent in a defective hearing protection device for replacement and, although the package they received had the cables, foam, and batteries, the actual earbuds were missing. I was sure I had shipped everything, even re-checking my workbench, so I emailed Amanda to ask if she could confirm whether the earbuds were in the box. She promptly investigated and let me know they were not there. Instead of just telling me “sorry we are unable to help you,” Amanda went the extra mile. I asked if I could at least pay for replacement earbuds so the warranty could proceed, and she took the time to check with her management team. After a short wait, she emailed back with the best possible news: they would fully honor my warranty, even though the earbuds were missing. This was exceptional, above-and-beyond customer service—clear communication, patience while I was trying to figure out what happened, and a final decision that put the customer first.
