I am not associated with this outfit - I do automotive inspections, and just did one on a chevy trax whose owner described her interaction with esurance. Amazing that NOT A SINGLE WORD she was told was truthful. Like that I would do an inspection for free. I did in this case because I felt sorry for the old lady who trusted these liars. Like their extended warranty would cover EVERYTHING. None does. For starters...

I've been with Esurance for seven or eight years, and it’s been one of the best policies I’ve ever had. Their agents made everything simple to understand and easy to talk to. The costs were fantastic—every six months, my insurance premium dropped because I drive responsibly. However, everything changed after a recent accident that wasn’t my fault. My car was towed to auto salvage on July 2, and as of today, July 15, it’s still waiting to be transferred to the dealership I chose for repairs. I’ve called roughly 50 times—been transferred to dead-end lines, disconnected numbers, and when I reach customer service, I get hung up on or told there’s no direct line. I’ve reached out to managers and adjusters, but no one has returned my calls, and the best I’ve gotten is a text message. I don’t know if they’re short-staffed or what the problem is, but it’s honestly disgraceful. Today, I spoke with someone who asked if I was paying for the towing—what? I’ve paid my deductible, and since the accident was not my fault, why should I be responsible for towing fees after 14 days? It’s hard to believe these insurers don’t care about their money or avoid waste—anyone with a boss (which is all of us) wouldn’t accept losing money for no reason. My main point is that I pay for insurance to protect myself, to be treated fairly, and to avoid paying costs I shouldn’t owe if I’m not at fault. They’re supposed to stand up for me so I don’t have to fight alone. If someone had asked me six months ago whether I’d recommend Esurance, I would have enthusiastically said yes. But with this experience, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I am a fair and understanding person, but this goes beyond that—my time, money, and patience are being squandered. I expect any company I pay regularly to stand up for me, save me money, and maximize my benefits—especially since I was not at fault. I’ve never had an accident since I started with them, and now I feel let down.

I was assigned an adjuster, Tashenia, and despite my effort to reach out to get in touch, she wouldn’t get back to me. Overall would not recommend this business.

I wish I could give zero stars Based on my experience, I would have no expectation that this insurance company will meet their obligation when you have a claim. We have a brand new 2026 Subaru that was rear ended by a customer of this agency. We have not yet even made a payment on the car. The vehicle had less than 300 miles when hit. We have not even received the registration in the mail yet. The company refuses to pay for the car to be restored to its original condition. It was brand new! They are trying to get away with the absolute minimum payout, not a complete repair

It won’t let me leave less than 1 star. This company is an absolute joke. Had a lot of wind damage to my house. The adjuster showed up 5 hours late and dropped lie after lie why he was late including blaming our contractor. He refused to put over half of the damage on the claim and told us we needed to pay for the entire repair up front and submit copies of canceled checks. Lucky for me we have free legal aid through my employer.

After my car wreck, I reached out and it took an agent a week to reply. The reason was "I'm very busy right now". They asked for a police report, which I sent, and that was the last I heard of them for 2 months. I had to personally call up and ask for information, and I got "Please send us the police report" and "We're still trying to reach a determination." Someone told me, if the other party is uninsured and you don't have Uninsured Coverage, the insurance company will drag their feet. I ultimately cancelled my policy after literally 4 months of no results. I lawyered up and got results immediately from what I assume is the other person's insurance. If you want cheap insurance to register your vehicle or so the cops don't bust you, then use these losers if they're the cheapest around. If you expect compensation and reponsiveness, however, find someone else.

Road side assistance always says they can’t see your coverage and that you’ll have to pay out of pocket and request reimbursement which will be near impossible to receive as you will have to spend hours waiting on hold and obtaining and emailing receipts and then following up repeatedly. This happened to me twice, same inconvenient process.
