Their nails are definitely from shein/…
Their nails are definitely from shein/ temu! They simply show videos on insta doing their own nails, but in reality they ship shein/ temu nails which are completely different from the videos

We want to kindly clarify that every Ersa Nails set is handmade by our professional nail techs. DO NOT BUY.
DO NOT BUY.
I ordered two sets of nails as well as the pro-touch kit— I've been left severely disappointed.
The nails themselves look nice, but the quality is poor.
The glue gel doesn't last, despite following the shown tutorial.
The press on removal pen does a poor job in removing the glue gel, thus resulting in a mess.
They claim the nails will last for weeks, but they haven't even lasted a full day.
I'm extremely upset as I'm a student, and I don't have a lot of money. I'd saved up, and wanted to treat myself but that ended up being the biggest waste of 150$
Seriously a scam :(

Customer service is a bit patronising…
Customer service is a bit patronising and rude. All the replies here to negative feedback are also dismissive and blaming all the customers, so that says a lot. Please don’t bother to follow up with me, I’m not interested in receiving more of the same.

Don’t last longer than 2 days
Nice nails but they don’t stay on longer than 2 days. Even with the pro touch kit that includes the sticky tabs to last 4 weeks. Waste of money. They won’t provide a refund unless a video is sent proving you are putting them on properly.
Also, the nails were too small, despite measuring exactly. This seems consistent with other reviews as well.
Update 18/3 as I’m not able to reply below to Ersa’s long reply. I did not order almond shape and the email trail was just yesterday, so interesting that there’s no record of it. My points above remain valid and reiterated pointing to the tutorial. Ersa will not refund for ‘faulty’ due to them not being able to be re-sold.
Response from ErsanailsMar 18, 2026
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback—we truly value every customer’s experience and want to address your concerns thoroughly!
First, regarding the sizing issue you mentioned: we explicitly note on our official size chart that customers need to order one size up for the Short Almond nail shape. We understand that this detail might be overlooked occasionally, but our team has repeatedly clarified this sizing tip in pre-purchase communications. Additionally, we clearly state on our homepage that if your measured nail size falls between two numbers, or if you have any sizing doubts at all, you should reach out to our customer service team for personalized guidance before placing your order.
Regrettably, we didn’t receive a sizing consultation from you prior to your purchase, which led to the mismatch you encountered.
We also want to emphasize an important point about our return policy for hygiene reasons. Press-on nails are personal care items that come into direct contact with the skin. Accepting returned products would pose a serious risk of cross-contamination and compromise the health and safety of our other customers. This policy is non-negotiable and is designed to protect everyone, and we sincerely hope you can understand our commitment to hygiene standards.
Lastly, about the wear duration of the nails: our homepage features a detailed step-by-step tutorial video that covers proper application and maintenance to maximize longevity. After checking our records, we found that there were no email communications from you regarding issues with the nail’s durability before this review was posted. If you encounter any application problems in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us—our team is always ready to provide you with tips and support to help you get the best wear experience.
We strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their custom press-on nails, and we hope this explanation clears up any misunderstandings. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to our support team anytime.
Best regards,
Ersa Nails
Update 18/3:Based on the customer’s own response, it is clear that no consultation was made with our customer service team regarding size selection prior to placing the order. Without the customer providing measurements or reaching out for guidance, it is not possible for us to determine whether the purchase may have been incorrect—especially considering that the email communication referenced only began yesterday.
Regarding the claim about not purchasing the short almond style, our size chart provides very clear and detailed measurement instructions to assist customers in selecting the correct size before ordering. We make every effort to ensure this information is accessible and easy to follow.
According to our customer service records, all after-sales cases that fall under our responsibility have been properly resolved. The only exception applies to cases where sizing issues arise due to incorrect self-measurement or selection, which unfortunately falls outside the scope of our after-sales policy.
As already clearly explained in our initial response, we believe the situation has been addressed in full. The remaining judgment can be left to those reading this review.
We appreciate your understanding.

BE CAREFUL WITH THEM
BE CAREFUL WITH THEM. I purchased two sets from ERSA after a friend recommended them, and I was really excited to try them. I’ve struggled with press-ons in the past because I have very small hands and tiny nails (strange but true!). I carefully followed the sizing guide and measured multiple times. Based on the guide, I ordered Almond Short XS because the style runs small. My measurements came in about 2.5 sizes smaller than the smallest size listed
When my sets arrived, the nails themselves were beautiful. However, when I opened one set and held a nail over my thumb, it was immediately clear they were too small. Because of that, I didn’t open or handle any of the other nails and contacted the team right away to ask if I could exchange them for a larger size.
Their return policy states that exchanges or refunds cannot be processed if you simply change your mind about style or size (due to hygiene) I completely understand the hygiene concerns behind that policy; I’m actually certified in infection control. My request wasn’t about changing my mind; it was about the sizing clearly not matching the measurements I carefully followed.
Unfortunately, the response I received implied that I hadn’t measured properly or didn’t pay attention when ordering, and that nothing could be done. That was disappointing, especially considering one set remains completely sealed, and the other was only opened briefly to check sizing.
What makes this especially frustrating is that the product itself is lovely; I genuinely wanted to love this brand and become a repeat customer. But customer service is just as important as product quality. At minimum, I had hoped the unopened set could be exchanged for the correct size. As it stands, it feels like there is no flexibility at all, even in reasonable situations.
It’s disappointing to spend $100 on a product I was excited about and have no path toward a solution, then they had the nerve to end the email, "We look forward to continuing to provide you with high-quality products and excellent service."
When actually the experience was "Here is a canned reply, sorry we don't believe you did what you were supposed to, thanks for your money, we are not helping you, we look forward to you spending more money!"

Let’s set the record straight regarding this review.
First and foremost, our customer service team provided detailed, patient guidance to the customer no fewer than three times during our communication. Our size chart clearly and prominently advises that customers should select one size up when purchasing the Short Almond nail shape—a critical tip we highlight to ensure the best fit.
Despite this explicit recommendation, the customer chose to ignore our advice, claiming that sizing up would make one of their fingers feel too loose, and insisted their own measurements were correct. What followed was that the customer ordered the wrong size, opened and used the press-on nails, and then demanded a full refund.
We had to politely decline this request, and here’s why: press-on nails are intimate beauty products that directly contact the skin. For the sake of hygiene, safety, and fairness to every single customer, we cannot resell used products to anyone else. This policy is clearly stated on our official website for all to see.
We deeply regret that the customer left this malicious review simply because their unreasonable refund request was denied. We stand by our policies, which are designed to protect the rights and interests of all our valued customers. For those who wish to verify the facts, we are fully prepared to make the complete email communication records public for everyone to judge fairly.
At our brand, we prioritize honesty and transparency above all else. We will never compromise on our principles to satisfy unfounded demands, and we remain committed to providing high-quality, handcrafted press-on nails and sincere service to customers who respect our policies and guidelines.

Refused to make nails on their website
I have bought nails from here a couple times and when I asked for a nail set that was on their page a couple weeks back they said no with no reason. Will not be buying from here again.
Yes, I bought from here two years ago - but that’s besides the point In between those two years I had asked for a “custom” nail set that I would pay for and it was of your nails that you had on your website that you took down that I liked and you said you couldn’t make it

Hi Tonya Mccann,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your previous order.
After checking our system with your name, we located an order placed on December 8, 2024—which is nearly two years ago. To ensure we can efficiently and accurately address your inquiry, could you please provide us with the order number associated with this purchase? The order number is the most direct way for us to retrieve the complete order details, including product specifications, transaction records, and any prior communication history.
Additionally, we noticed your mention of “asked for a nail set” in your message, and we would like to seek further clarification on this point. Could you please elaborate on the specific context of this request? For example, were you referring to a complimentary nail set that you expected to receive with your order, or a separate request related to the products you purchased?
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this clarification process. Once we receive the order number and your detailed explanation, our team will prioritize reviewing your case and providing a tailored solution for you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Best regards,
Ersa Nails

We are writing in response to your recent feedback regarding our discontinued product. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction this matter has caused you.
We wish to clarify that the style you purchased (or intended to purchase) was discontinued solely because the essential raw materials—specifically the coated nail glue and decorative accessories—are no longer manufactured by our authorized suppliers. This is a supply chain constraint that is completely outside of our control. As a brand committed to delivering handcrafted press-on nails of consistent quality, we cannot compromise by using substitute materials that would alter the product’s performance and appearance.
We recognize that the unavailability of a preferred product is disappointing, and we empathize with your frustration. However, it is important to note that product discontinuation is a common industry practice when key raw materials are no longer accessible. We do not have the capability to resume production of this specific style under any circumstances.

Factory Made. Available for $2–3 on Chinese Platforms

I would like to correct several inaccurate and concerning statements made in your reply.
First, my review is not related to an order from two years ago.
After receiving your response regarding that older order, I placed a new purchase totaling nearly $200.
Your claim that my review was motivated by a past after sales issue is therefore incorrect and misleading.
Second, I am concerned that you accessed my personal information from your customer records and referenced it publicly in an attempt to challenge my review. Customers expect their personal data to be handled responsibly, not used to identify or discredit them when they share feedback.
Third, your response included speculation about my nationality. This is irrelevant to the matter and inappropriate in a professional customer interaction.
Most importantly, my review focuses on transparency regarding the “handmade” claim.
Through independent research, I found multiple designs that are nearly identical to your products listed on Chinese wholesale platforms. This suggests that some items may be mass produced or contract manufactured rather than individually handcrafted as your marketing implies.
To be clear: My concern is transparency in marketing and pricing associated with a handmade narrative.
If your products are truly handcrafted by a team of technicians, the appropriate response would be to provide clear, verifiable evidence of your production process, rather than making personal assumptions about customer intent.
My review reflects my genuine consumer experience and research. I stand by my feedback.

I purchased multiple press on sets from Ersa Nails and spent almost $400 because their marketing repeatedly describes the products as “handmade.” Based on what I received and additional research, the products appear to be factory made/private label rather than handmade as advertised, and I feel the “handmade” representation is misleading.
I found very similar (in some cases nearly identical) designs on Chinese platforms like Taobao/Temu, often sold by small factory sellers. This strongly suggests the designs are not exclusive and are mass produced/ contract manufactured. I can read and write Chinese, so I’m confident in what I found.
To be clear, I’m not against factory made press ons. The issue is transparency. Similar factory level products on Chinese platforms are commonly sold for around $2–3 per set, which makes Ersa’s pricing difficult to justify when the products are marketed as handmade.
I would not have purchased multiple sets at this price point if the production method had been clearly disclosed. Please research carefully before purchasing.

02.28.2026 (Updated)
We are writing to further address your feedback and related claims, with a focus on clarifying factual details and reinforcing our position as a genuine handcrafted press-on nail studio.
1. On the Lack of Substantive Evidence for Your "Confidence"
You stated, “I can read and write Chinese, so I’m confident in what I found” after viewing similar-looking product images on platforms like Temu or Taobao. However, we must emphasize that this confidence is entirely unbacked by objective, tangible evidence. A credible judgment on product similarity and quality cannot be based solely on online image comparisons. It requires purchasing both products, conducting a side-by-side analysis of handcrafting details, material quality, fit precision, and durability—none of which you have done. Your ability to read Chinese has no logical connection to validating product attributes, and we fail to see how this translates into a factual basis for your claims.
2. On the Legitimacy of Our Public Response to Your Review
You claimed your negative review is “real data” rather than a retaliatory act following an unsuccessful after-sales request. In response, we assert that our public statement detailing the full incident is completely objective, fair, and justified. We strictly adhered to privacy protection standards—no personal information such as your address, contact details was disclosed. Our only goal is to provide transparency for other consumers, who have the right to understand the complete context behind your review, rather than relying on one-sided feedback. This practice aligns with the principles of fair market communication and consumer rights to informed decision-making.
3. On Your Unfounded Doubts About Our Handmade Narrative
Regarding your comments on our “marketing and pricing associated with a handmade narrative”, we have provided conclusive evidence to refute your doubts: we offer customized services that factory-mass-produced products cannot match, including custom designs from customer-provided images, personalized nail shape adjustments, and size tailoring. We also shared completed order photos from other clients to verify our craftsmanship. Despite this, you continued to update your negative review with biased, unsubstantiated opinions. This behavior is what constitutes a malicious review with traceable evidence.
We want to make it clear that we will never compromise on baseless negative feedback, whether it comes from competitors or other parties with ulterior motives. We welcome you to publicly share all email correspondence between us—we are fully confident that these records will prove our claims about your malicious review.
4. On Our Production Process and Final Position
Our production process is a proprietary trade secret, and we also uphold the privacy rights of our 32 professional nail artists. That said, we have provided sufficient proof of our handcrafted identity, including our customizable service offerings and positive reviews from satisfied customers—all of which confirm that we are a legitimate handcrafted press-on nail studio. In contrast, your entire argument relies solely on “similar images” from other platforms, with no additional evidence to support your claims.
We reserve the legal right to protect our brand from defamation and false accusations. Despite having sent you multiple cases and evidence via email, you chose to ignore all of them. Therefore, we will no longer respond to any further comments from you.
Justice speaks for itself.
