When I asked for one of my unit to be removed they sent me a contract and locked me in for 36 months without my agreement. 3 months later I am still paying for the unit I asked to get removed and they won't answer my emails. The worse customer service I've ever seen, dodgy as. Their service Centre is based in the Phillipines on top of this. I've moved to Radius and I highly recommend it. Paying half the price for an excellent local service in NZ.

There is no customer service! You can't contact anybody by phone or email. And they won't respond by phone or emails. My only thought is remove the devices from my fleet. Mail them back and quitting paying the bill.

Our experience with EROAD has been absolutely appalling. We signed up believing we had a 3-month minimum contract term. When we later tried to cancel, we were told we had actually been locked into a much longer contract due to an automatic renewal clause. The clause they are relying on wasn't clearly set out in the sales agreement we signed. It was on page 15 of separate terms and conditions, accessed through a link in small writing in the original sales agreement. We were then told we couldn't cancel without additional costs. We've had repeated phone calls and emails simply trying to end a service we no longer want. In my view, if a contract automatically locks a small business into another lengthy term, that should be made extremely clear at the point of signing — not buried on page 15 of a linked document. Extremely poor experience and an incredibly frustrating way to treat customers. We certainly won't be using EROAD again and I would strongly recommend anyone considering them reads every single piece of fine print before signing.

Overall experience pretty poor. I largely rely on this system to be an automatic system. Turns out Its not completely automatic. I had one payment bounce nearly 12 months ago which in turn switched off the autoruc feature. You would think like any accounts team does you would receive a phone call within the first month to notify of the failed payment. Instead they send 1x email and leave it at that. Meanwhile 12months goes by with my truck accumulating thousands of dollars in unpaid rucs that I was unaware of. As a customer I don’t feel this is my fault. People receive many emails daily and emails can easily be missed. Problems like this need to be alerted immediately by eroads accounts team by phone call within the billing month like every other accounts team does. is eroads accounts team automatic also !?! Seams like it!

Awful experience, keep getting logged out and unable to log back in, failed to remove tracking unit in a vehicle, but still charged me, sent direct debit forms, said they had recieved them, then not recieved them, then said they don't offer direct debit to Australian customers, then sent another direct debit form. Useless customer service, wasted hours and hours on the phone trying to sort the problems and gave up

Not great. RMA process is not good, Sales is unresponsive most days (2+ hour holds). It's a pretty sad state when they charge you for their own faulty equipment. I thought their higher cost and being a customer for 5+ years would make a difference but sadly no. Overall bad service. I would avoid and look at other providers.

We have had a very poor experience with EROAD. Since October 2025, we have repeatedly requested closure of our account and a final invoice. All units were removed in line with their requirements, yet we have continued to be billed. Over several months, we have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls with no resolution. The account remains open and charges continue despite our clear instructions. This has resulted in unnecessary costs, wasted time, and ongoing frustration for our business. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend proceeding with caution and ensuring you fully understand the exit process and any ongoing charges before signing up.

When we first started with this product, I felt their sales team and customer support were superb. Unfortunately, that has drastically gone downhill. It now frequently takes weeks to get a call back. My most recent attempt to add units took several days to complete, and when they sent the wrong cords, I was charged for additional ones. As a result, my bill has nearly tripled even though I only added three units, and once again, no one will return my calls. The program itself is very user-friendly, but the customer service has been incredibly disappointing. With over a decade of experience in trucking software support myself, I can confidently say that failing to respond to customers for this length of time is inexcusable.
