I repowered my 48V Polaris Ranger EV with an Epoch 160Ah kit about a year and a half ago, largely based on an online review(by Will Prowse). Solid battery, well-built, intuitive install, smart interface -- genuinely impressed for the first year. Then the wheels came off. Failed wiring harness, then a BMS failure, then another BMS -- all within a dozen cycles on the cells. Three failures in five months. I offered and did the bms swap out myself. I didn't want to burden this small company with shipping a heavy battery, when the swap was easy enough. The battery itself? Seems terrific! The support? Genuinely awful. Hard to reach, slow to respond, vague answers, and -- I recently learned -- they weren't even logging support cases in their system. So, after 6months of calls and emails from me, they had nothing documented(thank goodness that I did) For a $250 battery you might shrug that off. For a nearly $3,000 kit, it's not acceptable. I've worked with them quietly and in good faith for five months. I'm not a whiner. But I've hit my limit. My honest take: great product, but Epoch has grown faster than their support infrastructure can handle. They're just not equipped to back an expensive, premium battery the way a premium brand should. Had such high hopes. Buyer beware on the support side.

I have a 3 year old battery that wasn't working so I sent it in for warranty. The warranty work was performed at no charge and there was no return shipping as well. Great customer service in my opinion.

Propably the worst company that exists. Non existent customer service, communication or support. No answering in emails, contact forms, telephone nothing. Ordered 2 batteries from "Netherland warehouse" if such a thing/place exist. Never received any update, tracking or anything relative. AVOID AVOID, Possible scam. If you try to buy do it through Paypal to have some protextion because refunding is also not easy.

Couldn’t be happier with the purchase of our 2) 460ah Epoch V2 Elite batteries! As fulltime boondockers, working remotely, we need to rely on constant power. These batteries have performed flawlessly and give us all the power we need. Working in conjunction with our Victron equipment and the ability to use Bluetooth to see individual cells for balancing has been a gamechanger! We’ve found our new “go to” batteries!
