Hello Everyone,
I highly recommend you guys never make any deal using EPIK. Those guys are Scammers!
Last time, I am selling my website Using Epik. My client pays the total amount and the transition charge (1100$+55$). It's have been three months have passed. Still, Epik didn't provide my money! From last week they don't even reply to my mail!
This is the worst experience I am facing in my whole life. I can't trust EPIK anymore!

Hello Shah - once a sale is fully completed/closed, the funds are immediately paid out to the Seller. If this is in regards to you cashing out the funds, we would welcome you to follow up on your open ticket or create a new ticket so our team can review further. Thank you.

Please DO NOT!!
Please DO NOT!!! have EPIK.COM manage any of your DOMAIN if you ever want to get it back. The customer service is a joke and they dont care that a company is not able to communicate for almost a week. If you have your Domain under epik then I would advise you to move is a fast as you can. I have never seen a company if you want to call it that, that is so unprofessional.

Contemptuous security practices
On 19th September I was informed by haveibeenpwned.com that my data was involved in the Epik data breach. I contacted Epik that day and received the reply "The Epik team will be sending out further updates as the investigation is ongoing." More than a month later I have not heard anything from them.
Their data security practices have been the target of ridicule by researchers. They store unsalted passwords, and sensitive info like credit card numbers using plaintext. Hard to give credibility to some of the below reviews (from after the data breach) praising their security. Also the proportion of 5 star reviews from accounts with only 1 review is quite suspect.
Hope the Federal Trade Commision gives them a bit more than a slap on the wrist.

Sold a domain, 14 days later still no payment.
(Updated review from original on Feb 2, 2021) New review: April 12, 2023. Do not use this registrar. The reviews you read about non-payment are correct. In 2022 I sold domains through Epik for $2500, $3600, $500, $250. All had funds available in "Masterbucks" (their mismanaged escrow account) within 48 hours. Two weeks ago, I sold a domain for just over $300. It's not a large amount of money, but it is my money, and all I get as response to my frequent inquiries is "all Masterbucks payments are processed in a first-come, first-serve basis." Well, if they are that busy, then they need to get Rob Monster and Brian Royce sitting down at a desk in accounting and getting the work done before they get yet another lawsuit filed against them, and negative reviews everywhere I can possibly post them. Avoid this inept and (allegedly) criminal organization. Several months ago I started the process of transferring my 1000+ domain name portfolio over to Porkbun who offer great prices and are very nice people. So far so good.

I'm a domainer
I'm a domainer. I own 100's of domain names.
Epik contacted me explicitly offering to buy my domains/help sell them. I was told by the director of communications that the CEO (Rob Monster) instructed him.
Does Epik 'randomly' approach customers to buy their domain names very often? I'm a fool to believe that they might.
Epik did their best to 'befriend' me, turning the conversation really personal, even asking for my location, phone, real name, etc.
There were over 500 very personal messaged exchanged. This Rob Davis did his best to make the conversion personal and uplifting. However, he had sinister intent...There was never any intent to buy my domains. In hindsight, that became clear. When looking back at the evidence, it's clear, he only wanted leverage against me.
What he did with the conversation next is sickening.
Epik took my personal information, my emotions, the 'friendship', and gave the conversation to many other people.
Epik extracted the personal details of a customer, me, (Name, location, etc). And gave it away to 'anyone that asked'.
Epik admitted, in text, that they gave "others" the conversation. I saw where they were posting on blogs that they were "giving the conversation to anyone that asks". They were OFFERING it up.
My *IDENTIFYING information* was extracted in a conversation EXPLICITLY initiated in an official capacity by EPIK then given freely to 'anyone that asks'! They were offering up my identifying information.
I feel betrayed. Read on...what Epik said about it:::
Rob Davis (the communications director) told me, "everyone we showed your conversation laughed and said you have mental problems"...
WELL WELL WELL, DID THEY? That's not very nice!
DO NOT TRUST. They approach me as a 'friend' and 'buyer' of my domains. NONE of it was true. They wanted dirt on me! Instead, they used my heart against me, to give my personal information away, and ridicule me!
And full disclosure - I had a blog article that was critical of EPIK the -whole time-. I suggested they were laundering $ with crypto. WELL GUESS WHAT? Paypal just BANNED them! I was RIGHT. And I was approached and lied to, even SLANDERED for it.
Yes slander, Epik publically insisted that I "threatened violence against everyone", when I never did - not to anyone! Not ever!
Epik is experiencing blowback from many others too, not just me, but by PayPal, GoDaddy. They're kicked off!

Horrible crypto experience
I chose this escrow for their crypto options.
The exchange went well, until payment ...
Their website & masterbucks provide certain details and TOS that were not respected at all, not to mention arbitrary requirements that were not specified anywhere.
After waiting longer than their max time specified for withdrawal approval, I contacted support via their website chat. They told me that my issue was forwarded to my account manager but I didn't heard back from them.
I contacted my escrow manager that provided unheard of requirements for withdrawal.
After supplying the details, they sent me the crypto with a transaction fee so low, that it would not have been confirmed, ever! Not to mention their badly managed funds that required way more bytes than it should have!
In the end I had to pay for their badly managed transaction and key management out of my own pocket!
I felt robbed and lied to!
On top of it, I didn't received any receipt that proved they acquired and sent the right amount of crypto to me.
- easy escrow transaction
- 0 customer feedback and transparency
- extra terms that you will find out in the process
- below average customer support
Avoid Epik!

Horrible Company - Does not look out for customers.
Company is horrible when it comes to selling domains. They push off any offer for their clients, unless they are going to make a substantial payoff. In fact a website sitting for 15 years dormant, and they are marking it up over 10x the value to make a better commission. They will not even pass information which is hindering potential revenue for their client.
HORRIBLE COMPANY - STAY AWAY!

While many sellers are willing to negotiate with buyers, and some provide flexible financing, we do not dictate to sellers that they must accommodate every inquiring party.
We do have bargain domains at NameLiquidate.com and Epik.com Daily Diamonds: https://marketplace.epik.com/daily-diamonds . The domains on these sites fall to as little as $9. If you are on a low budget and are a bit patient, you might do better there.
We provide a service that connects buyers and sellers. We do it about as well as anyone. We just won the prize for NamePros registrar of the year, outpolling the much larger Godaddy by near 2:1. You can see comments here:

In the meantime, best of luck finding a name that fits your budget.
