The finished website turned out great, and I’m genuinely happy with the final product. Austin was willing to continue making revisions until we got the site where it needed to be, and I appreciate that commitment. That said, the process getting there wasn’t easy. The project was estimated at 1–2 weeks but ultimately took close to two months. Communication was the biggest challenge. There were times when updates were difficult to get, I found myself going through other team members to understand what was happening, and I later learned most of the work was happening late at night—which would have been helpful to know from the beginning. There were also several preventable issues along the way, including my site being published before I had approved it, along with redirects, links, and SEO items that had to be revisited after launch. To Austin’s credit, he continued working through every issue until it was resolved. Would I work with them again? Yes—but now I know what to expect. If communication, project management, and quality control before launch improve, I think the overall client experience would match the quality of the final product.
