I recently considered Enva Web Studios as a candidate for a Shopify redesign project for my business, Euro Work Wear. Unfortunately, my experience raised a serious concern about their handling of contact information. For this project, we provided a specific business email address for communication. However, Enva's solicitation was also sent to additional personal Yahoo email addresses that I did not provide to them for this project. Most concerning, one of those addresses belongs to my ex-wife, who has absolutely no involvement with my business or this website project. I contacted their representative and specifically asked where these personal email addresses came from and why they were included in a business solicitation. The message was read, but at the time of writing this review, I have not received an explanation. This was particularly concerning because we were considering giving this company access to our Shopify store and potentially sensitive business systems and information. Trust and responsible handling of information are extremely important when selecting a web development company. Because of this experience and the lack of an explanation, I removed Enva Web Studios from consideration for our project. I am still willing to update this review if the company provides a clear and reasonable explanation of how these personal email addresses were obtained and why they were used. Potential customers can draw their own conclusions, but I believe this experience is important to document.
