I had Oud Dhul Q 2015 and it was the most best thing I've ever smelled. I went to get more recently, and to my unfortunate surprise, the "Vintage 2022" collection is a distinctly different smell, not at all as good as it used to be... They did however offer fast shipping and included a few samples of other oils, but the main thing I ordered was full of disappointment

I am an old client of Ensor Oud, the product has always been outstanding. However, even if the description was accurate about how the Vietnam Organic was different, this batch seem to be an error in the fabrication. What happened did the fermentation got corrupted by some bad bacteria? In any case I am not sure how to use this, even as a funky base for perfume. — After using it as a base it is indeed an interesting product. Indeed more like musk or civet. Thank you for the clarification
