Not a class for healthcare employees, not an AHA CLASS EITHER.
This was the most disappointing class that I have taken as a nurse with 20 years experience. The instructor talked for 2 hours & we barely touched the "dummies" during the last hour. There was no written test or actual skills check off. I would like my $80 back and I fear for the 12 nursing students in the class that never even touched the AED or Ambu bag because the instructor was unprepared & too busy telling stories instead of training. I asked if I was accidentally put in a beginner class but was told "they are all the same class". I am still in shock that this was called an American Heart Association class- the AHA would never approve of a instructor eliminating skills & testing, and his unprofessional commentary. The entire class deserves their money back.
