Experienced some discrimination
Though a few surveys presented will allow for a participant’s eligibility, many surveys exclude a participant immediately after entering information about one’s mature age, even when employed full time with unique business experiences.

We want to clarify that the screening questions and eligibility criteria for each study are set by our research clients, and they often have very specific requirements that we don’t have full visibility into. We know it can be frustrating to be screened out from certain studies, especially when you have relevant professional experience, and we’ll continue encouraging our clients to make the screening process as fair and transparent as possible.

Misleading information
Before the started the statement said once I completed the survey would receive incentive immediately after, unfortunately was not true at the end of the survey then it states to 5 to 10 days to receive incentive.. but order to receive it you must link your LinkedIn account with them which seems kinda sketchy.. so 2 weeks later I still have not received any incentive just more misleading information now the company states it takes 12 days to receive incentive.. bottom line it's a 20% chance they'll pay you... This company revoked my incentive for my completed survey that I was qualified for.. because I informed them I was going to file a complaint..

Hi there - your incentive was revoked because our team identified that you hav been fraudulently participating in the same studies under several different email aliases, which is against our Participant's Terms of Service.

Payment Challenges
Payment Challenges Feels like you are making the payment as difficult as it could possibly be. Links that go nowhere or look like phishing scams. Other consulting companies make this part easy. Why make it next to impossible to pay for the time and expertise I shared?

Payment links should be accessible directly from within our participant portal, Polis and should be a fairly straightforward redemption experience. We'd love to learn how we can improve here.

needlessly complicated to link my…
needlessly complicated to link my Linked in profile to collect my rewards. This was no disclosed up front as this would have influenced whether or not to complete the survey to begin with.

Hi there – please feel free to reach out to our support staff to process your incentive via email. We invite candidates to log in with their LinkedIn profile to see what other studies they might also qualify for.

I filled out a survey
I filled out a survey. A during the process it felt like a fishing scam. after the survey ended on me before the completion bar was at 100%, I emailed to see how I was going to be compensated. A week later I was sent a link to claim a gift card. The claiming process required allowing access to my linked profile (very sketchy)! I created a new linked in profile as this company feels very scamy and I’m not giving them open access to my social media to claim the compensation. Perhaps they are a legit company that just operates with a bit of deception. I did get paid (I think). Going forward I will not engage with this company again.

Hi Brad – I'm sorry to hear your experience wasn't as expected. We also support direct payout via email if you wouldn't like to join our participant portal. We require participants to authenticate with LinkedIn so that we can share access to studies they qualify for and ensure they are who they say they are as there's a good deal of survey fraud in the industry. We don't gain access to any private information when you authenticate with LinkedIn. If you received an invite to our participant portal, you were definitely paid so please reach out to [email protected] if you're having trouble redeeming. Hoping you reconsider participating with us in the future!
