• Follow up on my Aug 11, 2023 review • 30WO01_30in_Electric_Single_Wall_Oven. Original amazon price = $1,496 • Purchased April 3, 2022. Unopened until recently due to delay in kitchen remodel, long term illness, and job layoff (all good now). • This is still under warranty. I am hoping to be able to return it. If not, I’ll try to get something for it and purchase a better oven. - Well, I finally finished installation. All OK there. The response I received regarding my install questions was OK, but I mostly had to figure things out myself. Unfortunately, it is bad/downhill from there. I think, functionally, the oven may be good but here is our experience. This is brand new out of box and unused: 1. The finish on the stainless-steel edges on door sides and corners is bad. Short, not completely ‘down’ so there is a slightly raised edge. That edge is razor sharp. I sliced my hand open following the instructions for removing the door for installation. Maybe 1.5 in long cut needing stitches. I used butterfly bandage vs cost of urgent care. 2. The upper corners of the stainless steel ‘wrap’ on the door are same and can catch your skin or oven mitt. If we keep the oven, we’ll put a dab of clear silicone on the corners. 3. There is a spot on the door frame near bottom where the enamel is off. About half the size of a dime. 4. The broiler pan/rack is missing (included per the user book) 5. The oven emits an extremely loud electro (maybe mechanical?) humming/vibrating/buzz sound when pre-heat starts. Lasts for about a minute then dies off to 'normal'. o Almost ruined Thanksgiving. Was going to be 1st use but was afraid to use it. Luckily, I was able to grill the turkey outdoors. o I triple-checked wiring/connections including testing for any current/voltage leaks– all ok. 6. Note: At Home Depot there is a row of installed wall ovens. Maybe 4 of 6 have completely refined stainless steel edges on the door. Not loose, rounded so not sharp, and/or recessed a bit. It may be a biased perception, but they also seem to be thicker gauge stainless steel.

The oven is the worst appliance I have ever bought!! Set the temperature to 350 degrees won’t heat past 250 degrees. It is at least 50 degrees off. Need to sell a product that is useable. Selling this junk is nothing more than dishonest!! I highly recommend that nobody buys this oven! Can’t say that the whole brand is bad but I’m sure not going to waste my money on anything else that has the Imprava name on it.

poor conmunications,had to cancel my order because it was late. trying to get refund and they want a restock fee and the it was never opened

We have a double oven Nothing but problems and couldn’t be fixed by reliable repair people Started breaking down after 6 months No reply from customer service Complete disaster and waste of time and money

I bought a wrong size hotplate and was asked to pay 20% restocking fees to return. It’s unfair .

Bought an Empava 30" gas range from Lowes in December 2022. It was delivered January 23, started having problems with the oven in February. After many calls to Empava an had a discussion about the problems they said they new what the problem was an would seed the parts to repair it an also send a technician to do the work. We'll, no parts was sent and no technician to evaluate the problem. After many calls again, they said they would send parts and a technician. Well again, parts were sent. I received a pool pump to fix the stove. Go figure. After many more calls and emails to Empava I received another box with right and wrong parts. Boiling at this point. Called emails, begging for a repair on the stove, I received one more box and technician I had to pay for, finally I thought that the stove would be repaired. Technician put in all the parts and got to the part on the stove burner controls and again!!! The wrong parts. Guess what. The oven, broiler, and convection fan does not work. Defective stove readers. This is what happened over a course of 4 months. R.Barton

Delivered with dents and hardly any power. Very disappointed

The burners are too big, you can not use a small pot because the heat is going around the pot making the cooking long and creating a danger of burning yourself. Also, the top grid is too tall, and far away from the burners. Really bad and dangerous design of the cooktop. I'm sorry that I didn't return it when I could.
