This company sent a mail with no Eleras branding on it, misleading themselves as my Ford. When I phoned them they presented themselves as Ford. When my children saw that I purchased a warranty they flagged it as a scam and when i tried to cancel they were combative and took over 28 minutes bouncing me from place to place. Lucky for me I was sitting with my husband in the ER so i had the time but the man on the phone made cheap shots at my and my husbands health then bounced me to his supervisor. It's not a BBB accredited business and is in violation of the FTC act that makes it difficult to end contracts! If you want to throw 5k away on needless warranties then maybe go with one that at least has kind people working there.

I cancelled my service and they STILL took 145 out of my account! If anything I should be getting refunded that. I’m calling my bank tomorrow

SCAM... I'VE HAD MY 2025 CAR AND THEY WRITE TO ME STATING MY WARRANTY COVERAGE IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE...... THEY ALSO SEND ME WHAT LOOKS LIKE A CHECK AND IT IS UNSIGNED. GREAT FISHING STRATEGY.......

Not only is this company scammy, they're spammy. They prey on elderly and unwitting people, and when they are asked to Cease & Desist with the hourly calls they circularly go back to trying to "sell" the "policy". I thought everyone was aware of the "Extended Warranty" scam, but Katy really takes the cake on the slimy clocksucking.

ITS A SCAM!!! Joined them a few months ago because of the same email everyone else gets, saying close to “You have 5 days before it expires.” I called to cancel and experienced the Evil Michael treatment.. the absolute worse customer service that can be experienced and I’m understating. Called me an idiot! Yea yelled at my phone to cancel dozens of times until he caved, he said “It’s canceled” and hung up.. I called again to make sure and get a cancellation number. Got it and I’m heading to the bank now to change my account info so they can’t try any BS. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

SCAM! Somehow the Eleras Group obtained information about the car we recently purchased, the make and model along with our name and address. They sent us a letter that looked very official (bar code, photo of the car similar to what we bought, etc.) It also stated "Official Business" and "Penalty for Private Use, $300." Their THREAT was that when our factory warranty expired, we would be financially liable for all repairs. We were instructed to call within 5 days to ensure eligibility. I called because I thought it was a letter from BMW letting me know that THEIR warranty had expired (and I had gotten my BMW in July 2024, and it is now Dec. 2024- and I have a weird year with cars?!?). So, I thought that this was a call that had to be done, because for whatever reason- they did not have current mileage, and what not. So I read off my mileage, they HAD my VIN # (?), then they gave me a quote of $295 for December 2031. Thinking that was fair (?), I said ok, and I gave them my credit card #. After all this is over- THEN, he said, "you know that this will be only $289 per month." "WHAT?!? I don't want to be paying $290 per month?!" I said- and so began the evil MICHAEL 'customer service' experience. I have NEVER ever been so humiliated, exasperated, and riled up before by a service person in my life. I called to cancel my membership in the service- and he said 'why', and in so many words- basically **** you, NO WAY. HE called me back not once, but TWICE!!! I didn't pick up the second time, because I did not need to be humiliated by a man, so worthless, as this. I will be CANCELLING my credit card- because I have no idea what else to do.
