They Allow You To Be Scammed
I spoke with U.S. Bank (Elan Financial Services), regarding a fraudulent $98 charge on my Fidelity rewards credit card that is serviced through U.S. bank. I sent in documents but accidentally left out key details above that would have approved my dispute, so my claim was not approved. And to add insult to injury, the merchant lied and said I received a service, I never received a service because I cancelled the appointment for my safety and health concerns above that they did not respond to. As I saw the temporary $98 credit removed from my account on 8/6/25, I quickly appealed the claim. During the appeal process, someone at U.S Banks Elan Financial Services was supposed to call me with 24 hours of the, but no one called me today 8/7/25. So I called U.S Banks Elan Financial Services at 3:08 PM today (8/7) and representative told me the case manager called me twice, but I have no missed calls and I was unable to have the discussion to successfully appeal my case. I have the same number for 14 years, and I my phone accepts all calls even spam calls. So U.S Banks's Elan Financial Services is unethical about lying about calling me, I do not feel protected as a consumer as I was never given a change to go through the appeal process and add more details on my claim for my dispute case CASE ID: D250708002621. I do not feel protected as a consumer, U.S. Banks Elan Financial Services, and has not protected my rights against the fraudulent $98 charge and they have not protected my rights as a consumer, they claim to have a 100% no-liability fraud policy in place, but they have allowed me to be scammed and have not rightfully returned my money to me. I have supporting documentation attached.
