EinapplicationsReviews of einapplications.org

Would give it zero if I could. THIS IS A SCAM. They access public business filing records to act like they are the government themselves. As others here have said, ***GETTING YOUR EIN IS FREE*** and takes minutes through the IRS. This site saves you no time and offers no benefit other than scamming you out of $150. No idea how they sleep at night.

Be very careful with this website. I had just filed an LLC in Georgia and shortly afterward received a text message stating that my LLC was “now active” and that I could set up a Federal EIN, with a link to einapplications.org. Because the message used the exact name of my newly filed LLC, I initially believed it was connected to the official business registration process. I followed the link and entered personal information, including my SSN. I later checked the official Georgia Secretary of State website and discovered that my LLC was not yet showing as active. I also learned that an EIN can be obtained directly from the IRS for free. After realizing this, I did not make the requested payment. I contacted einapplications.org and requested cancellation of my application and permanent deletion of my personal information. They responded by email confirming that the application had been canceled and that my information had been deleted. My biggest concern is how they obtained the exact name of my newly filed LLC so quickly and why the text message stated that the LLC was active when I could not verify that status through Georgia’s official business registry. I recommend verifying your LLC status directly with your state’s official business registry and obtaining your EIN directly from IRS.gov.

A total scam. I called to cancel. After canceling they started calling my cell phone and telling me to "F" off. The number they where calling from is (816) 629-8334. Avoid this company at all costs.

ILLEGALLY CONTACTED ME AFTER MY APLLICATIIN WENT PUBLIC...THEY SCAM BY TELLING YOU THAT YOU NEED HELP WHEN YOU DO NOT ...THE FORM IS VERY BASIC AND YOU NEED NO EXTRA HELP OR INFO. I AM ALSO REPORTING THEM TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES

Scam. You can file for free. Sadly I was a little too over enthusiastic and didn't think twice and started a charge of $149. Some people have gotten refunds while others haven't, they cancelled mine so I wasn't charged (yet). While it does say they aren't affiliated with the IRS on the site it is not obvious. If you fill out they will get your SSN so beware.

Shady business. I was creating my first LLC and I got my EIN for free from the IRS. Myself being new to the process of setting things up, I thought that this was something that I needed to do for State purposes. Just a company trying to take advantage of people and charge $150, when you can just apply and get one for free when doing it through the IRS.

I too received a text from this company after establishing my LLC through the State of Michigan in January 2026. I knew from previous applications for EIN numbers that there was no fee when applying with the IRS, however in the high spirits of starting my LLC, it did not occur to me that I had never received a text message from the government about EIN application processes. I did go through with the application and paid $149. Once my husband and I realized what happened, I looked online for reviews from others. There was one where the fee was refunded and so I reached out. The very same day, I received a response apologizing and offering a goodwill refund. I received full credit on my account a few days later, as promised! Further, it was explained that in part, they handle applications for people when they don't want to interact with the IRS. I told them the text to apply with them was opportunistic. Clearly, many others feel the same. What I have learned through this interaction is to take my time. If something seems off or feels wrong, don't proceed. Research the source first. I've also learned that asking for the consideration of a refund, does happen! It happened to me.

This is a scam. You can get an EIN for free on the IRS dot Gov site. Filed as a foreign entity in a new state and got a text from this company to file for an EIN, which I don't need, as I have had one for 10 years.
