eFireplaceStoreReviews of efireplacestore.com

Ordered a 8" diameter firestop. Recieved 11" diameter metal 100% different from what was pictured and ordered. Sent pictures, invoice and everything and refuse to accept a mistake was made. Do not buy from them! Prove a mistake was made and you pay the price. Still waiting on a reaponse.

Worst possible place to buy something. I bought some mesh screening, they didn't provide options for shipping and sent via FedEx (the worst shipper in the world right now!) The item was never delivered and they said FedEx had a signed delivery: "HDBCDB" No name, just a bunch of letters that doesn't represent anyone in our small 5 person company. When I requested replacement or refund they said "NO". They said FedEx delivered it and suggest I send them a photo of my address and other things to prove a negative... Who does that. It was over $600 and now I have to take them to small claims court. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!

Ordered Micore 300 through them b/c website said they had plenty in stock and would ship out within 48 hrs. After 48 hrs called for update, the product is on back order and wont be shipped for 14 days. Was fined $2000 from my several contractors for project delay, absorbed cost because cancelling order would delay further and efireplacestore only offered 15$ discount in compensation. Come day 16 with no update I reach back out, they state the order is still pending and that they cannot give me a status update because the warehouse quote "isnt answering the phone". Their solution? "We can go ahead and cancel the order" which would set me back ANOTHER 2 weeks and ANOTHER 2k. This is a horrible business all around, do yourself a huge favor and go literally anywhere else. 2000 characters is not enough to list everything wrong with this company.

**DO NOT USE — Terrible Return Policy** I purchased an outdoor stainless steel trim kit for a refrigerator from eFireplaceStore for $139. Unfortunately, the trim kit was the wrong size. I contacted them to return it and was informed that my refund would be reduced by the original $40.86 shipping charge, plus any applicable restocking fees. Then I went to both FedEx and UPS to ship the item back. **Both quoted me over $130 just for return shipping.** So on a $139 item, I would have to pay nearly the entire purchase price just to send it back, then still lose the original shipping charge and potentially a restocking fee. Completely unreasonable and a total waste of money. Their return process essentially makes returning an item financially pointless. **Buyer beware. I would not purchase from eFireplaceStore again.**

Ordered chimney pieces. They arrived with chipped paint and missing pieces. There was no item list or instructions to determine what should have been included. I ordered two identical pieces, they came in different boxes and included different pieces, with no clear way to complete the install with either of them. I returned one of the pieces and they claimed it was damaged in shipping and couldn't issue a refund. This would appear to be an intentional scam. I don't know how many times these parts were sent out before me.

eFireplace has a returns and damage claim process that seems great when filing a claim. What's not great is the emails week after week (45 days now) either telling me that they haven't heard from the manufacturer, or they just talked to the manufacturer and replacement parts are on the way. It's a runaround. I am disputing and returning because the warranty process is useless.

This company is a complete fraud!! Stay away from this company!! I bought a fireplace screen which needed to be returned and I had great difficulty getting it approved for a return. Once they received it back, they claimed it had beem damaged in return transport. They refused the refund of almost $500 and suggested I file a claim with UPS for the item. This is their process. This way, they keep the original payment and UPS covers my refund. Complete fraud!! I let UPS and the better business bureau know what this company is doing!!

Product: Pool fire bowl/scupper combo. 1. Took forever to arrive, then they even emailed me to say it was going to be even longer. 2. They told me I'd need the propane tank connectors they sell separately. I didn't need them at all so I contacted em to return and they agreed to accept a return if I paid original shipping back, shipping to send all 3 back to em, and a restocking fee. Basically, nearly all of the purchase price. Customer service is TERRIBLE
